Description

Renovation contractor Casey is perfectly content with her dust-covered boots and her quiet, hard-earned independence. Her meticulously organized job site is the last place anyone expects to find Seattle’s most elusive socialite, Olivia Laurent. When the billionaire heiress arrives, towering in designer heels and offering to help with the heavy lifting, Casey is prepared to write her off as yet another bored debutante playing pretend. But Olivia is not the fragile princess Casey anticipated. Beneath the polished exterior and the reckless attempts to handle a power drill, Olivia is disarmingly sweet—and dangerously persistent. What begins as a clash of two different worlds shifts when a sudden storm traps them together, turning their forced proximity into a wildfire of undeniable chemistry. Determined to break through Casey’s icy walls, Olivia trades her high-society galas for extravagant, over-the-top gestures, from catered gourmet lunches on the construction floor to questionable diamond-encrusted upgrades for Casey’s toolbox. With a crew of meddlesome coworkers cheering from the sidelines and a heart that refuses to say no, Casey finds herself falling for the one woman who threatens to upend her entire life. It is a collision of boots and stilettos where the grumpiest heart always loses.

Tearing it down to build it new

This well written story was quite arousing at times that drew the story to tearing it down to build it new. The tension is built into the main characters due to social status.

Just the Remedy!

I need all the humor I can get in these times. This book is just the thing; especially since I’ve done some building maintenance myself. Laugh out loud. I highly recommend this book.
