Ace and Zoma were phenomenal together. I am glad that Ace didn't let Zoma ghosting him deter him. Poor Zoma had reason to be leary, but I am glad that he decided to give Ace a chance. He would have been missing out on a great guy due to a horrid guy. I was not happy that Brody tried to weasel his way back into Zoma's life. Ace did exactly the right thing with Zoma. It was great to watch them build a life together and make choices as a couple. I loved their story so much.
The fourth installment in the Desert Ice Hockey series did not disappoint! When Ace, the star goalie for ASU meets Zoma, a figure skater with a past full of heartbreak, sparks fly. Unfortunately, when Zoma finds out Ace is a hockey player, his past clouds his vision for the future. And when Ace begins to get recruited for the NHL, he has to made a decision that will affect both of thier lives.
This book has some angst, plenty of heat, sass, and a lot of country-boy sweetness.

Loved these two together. Ace is caring, adorable, and sweet. He’s so good with Zoma and dealing with his insecurities. My only complaint is how abruptly it ended. That may be because I want more of these two, but it was pretty abrupt.

Haven’t read the stories that came before this one, but the blurb here caught my attention.
I liked Ace and Zoma; actually I liked Ace much more than I liked Zoma. Buy they were really hot together.
Not sure how believable it is that a player of Ace's calibre and age would choose NOT to follow the money and play for a top team but rather stay cos he wants to be with his friends and boyfriend ...🤷🏻♀️ That part just didn't quite work for me... 😬🫣 But, I guess that was what made HIM happy...🤦🏻♀️

Sweet story between a guy who has known heartbreak and a man who’d never intentionally break a heart. The Brody issue felt a little unresolved.
