Description

For Willow Greene, technology is an adversary. As a new admin who seems to emit a constant, accidental electromagnetic pulse, she has resigned herself to a life of printer jams, crashing hard drives, and an equally glitchy dating history. Convinced that love is just another system failure waiting to happen, she keeps her head down and her heart under lock and key. Enter Scottie Prescott, the IT department’s resident ray of sunshine. Scottie thrives on order and logic, yet her resolve is tested when the enigmatic, perpetually frazzled Willow walks into her life. Although Scottie is still piecing herself back together after a devastating breakup, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to Willow’s quiet magnetism. When a routine office glitch turns into a literal standoff in a stuck elevator, the carefully maintained boundaries between them begin to short-circuit. In the confined space, the professional distance dissolves, replaced by a slow-burning chemistry that neither can debug. As they navigate their past wounds, both women must decide if they are brave enough to risk a reboot. After all, when genuine sparks finally fly, the danger of getting burned is exactly what makes the connection worth the risk.

A Sweet Romantic Love Story

Another well written book from Jae. The characters are sweet and it was fun to see the relationship grow. I was disappointed that she re-used a setting from a previous series but that did not detract from the book.

An adorably cute, low angst love story!

You'll fall in love with Scottie and Willow. Scottie is an IT specialist and Willow seems to have IT problems because of her static electricity! Scottie was the one IT person to catch Willow's tickets, and she thought Willow was cute. Willow thinks the same of Scottie. Things between them change and they get a bit closer after they get stuck together in the elevator. This is a really cute, low angst love story! I LOVE THIS BOOK! 5 stars!!

Shocking

This is definitely a slow-burning romance between Scottie and Willow. The static electricity element of the story was fascinating and one that I don't ever remember reading before. It was a very novel approach. As usual, Jae's characters were endearing, especially Scottie dealing with Willows's issues. I really like the progression of romance. The story took its time to develop a "chemistry" between the two characters.

A fun sweet romance

Such a fun and sweet romance that explores not hiding who you are and allowing others to know you and all your quirks. Very sweet family moments with laugh out loud situations. A fabulous feel good read!
