Description

Life at the Phoenix Ridge Fire Department is rarely quiet, but for Maya, the heat is becoming personal. As a dedicated firefighter, she prides herself on her composure under pressure, yet that professionalism begins to fray the moment a new recruit steps into the bay. Sparks don’t just fly in the field; they start to ignite within the station walls, setting off an undeniable tension that threatens to distract her from the high-stakes dangers of the job. Navigating the delicate balance between career ambition and the pull of an unexpected attraction, Maya finds herself torn. This isn't just about fighting fires; it is about learning to manage a flame that consumes her downtime with the same intensity as a three-alarm blaze. As she and her counterpart dance around the inevitable collision of their professional and romantic worlds, they must decide if an off-limits connection is worth the hazard. Filled with sharp wit, authentic workplace camaraderie, and a slow-burn romance that keeps the stakes high, this story captures the thrill of falling for the last person you expected. It is a heartfelt, fast-paced dive into queer love, proving that sometimes the toughest fires to extinguish are the ones sparked right in your own backyard.

Sparks... definitely sparks!

OMG-this was nail-biting at times! I loved it! Women in a male-dominated field fighting to prove that they have what it takes and more. Hallie and Kaia both love being firefighters. They both have worked hard to get where they are in their careers. They both still have a lot to prove. Neither of them can help being drawn to the other... even if it could jeopardize everything they've worked for. This was hot🔥🔥🔥 in so many ways! Exciting, intense, lots of action, passionate... it was wow! Total page turner... and firefighters!😍
