Description

Cillian and Julian were never supposed to cross paths, but in a world where monsters are real and fate has a wicked sense of humor, destiny rarely asks for permission. When a fated mates connection pulls them into each others orbits, they quickly realize that the shadows hiding in the corners of their lives are nothing compared to the intensity of their bond. This story is a masterclass in the found family trope, blending high-stakes supernatural tension with the kind of deep, unwavering devotion that makes a romance truly unforgettable. Between the chaotic shenanigans of their eccentric circle and the dark undertones of a world that fears what it does not understand, Cillian and Julian must fight to protect the rare, beautiful spark they have found in one another. Readers who crave a perfect balance of grit, heart, and humor will fall instantly for this pair. It is a tale of belonging against all odds, featuring characters who are as complex as they are lovable. With a satisfying happily ever after that feels earned and a tantalizing setup for the adventures to follow, this is a must-read for anyone who believes that even the deepest shadows can hold something worth keeping.

Another great story from Lisa Oliver and the start of another fun new series.

Another great story from Lisa Oliver. Loved the characters and I loved the HEA ending and Rook's setup for the next story in the series. I really liked the characters Cillian and Julian are perfect for each other and in some ways, remind me of Ant and Viktor (can't wait for their next book). I find shadow entities very interesting and opens up a whole new area of paranormal. There were some really sweet spots. There were also some graphic spots, but none of them were over done. I found the entire book/story and series to come, perfect! Can't wait for more. It is definitely another book of Lisa's that I will be rereading again and again (just like all of Lisa's books). Thank you Lisa for another fun engrossing read. You had me hooked from the beginning!

Tons of fun

This is probably one of my favorite Lisa Oliver books. I don’t have a lot to say except the plot is engaging, the characters are a riot, the supernatural elements are well woven in, and the violence was just the right amount. I want to read the rest of this series ASAP.

Loved this story

My concern is do we have to wait one to five years for the next book ? Are the mates immortal now if not why not? Why do they not have their own shadows when mated? Cool mate shadow tattoos that protects the mates. Loved it but something is missing
