Description

Elara has spent her entire life anchored to the mundane rhythm of the human world, but a routine expedition into uncharted coastal waters changes everything. When a freak storm leaves her stranded, she expects the deep to claim her. Instead, she finds herself pulled from the brink by a creature of myth: Kaelith. Kaelith is a guardian of the reef, a siren whose voice has lured many to their doom, but she finds herself unexpectedly spellbound by the human intruder. What begins as a cautious curiosity quickly ignites into a forbidden connection that defies the laws of their separate worlds. Bound by the salt and the tide, the two must navigate the dangerous divide between the surface and the abyss. Sirens of the Sugar Seas is a lush, atmospheric romance that dives headfirst into themes of belonging, sacrifice, and the transformative power of love. Kat Blackthorne crafts a tale that is both tender and intoxicating, proving that sometimes the greatest treasures aren't found in shipwrecks, but in the heart of another. Perfect for those who crave a quick, magical escape, this sapphic love story delivers a sweeping, dreamlike journey to a seaside happily-ever-after.

Sirens! I wish it was longer!

A wonderful sapphic short story! I wish it were longer! The spice was 🥵. A human loved a siren, it was a great sea monster romance, something I’ve been craving for a while but couldn’t find. I’m officially a fan of this author. Can’t wait to read more!

Sexy, quick read

I finished this book in a few hours. It satisfied my need for sapphic sirens and the ocean. I knew it was a quick read from the get-go, and it definitely was. But I wouldn't have minded more to expand on. It has a steamy scene and insta-love trope. All in all, I enjoyed it!

siren sapphic monster romance

This follows a woman who joins a ship running from being rejected by her love on land. The ship’s mission is not what it seems and men start to disappear from the ship. What will happen when there are no men left. I really enjoyed this story and the idea that mermaids and sirens are different creatures.

My Sailor Girl and My Siren

She walked on the ship to get as far away from someone she loved as she could get, only to find someone who would then turn her wourld upside down. Then, for her to want to drown in the very Sea to stay in the waters with her love. I love their stories, I love how "the girl " was able to be turned into a mermaid to be with her siren mate. And I definitely love the Easter eggs thrown in there to The Halloween Boys and The Story Keeper Pirates. I need to know more about them. But I know sometimes you have to wait for the good things! So I'll be a good girl and wait 😘

Enjoyable Novella!

“The ocean was my watery grave, and my siren’s arms were my casket.” Sirens of the Sugar Seas is a short F/F Instalove novella. It was fun and whimsical. The story follows “the girl” who after heartbreak on land, decides to board a ship and set for sea with a captain and his crew. What happens aboard the ship is tales of sea legends and of sirens luring men to their watery deaths. When a siren meets a girl, the story changes and what unfolds is deep longing and acceptance. “I could die in the sea with my siren or I could live a half life on land.” Overall this is a nice little story. It was interesting and short. It’s low on the spice scale but still a good story. 4 stars.
