I was so looking forward to this story, and really wanted some feels in between all the hotness 💛 Did Ashley Rayne pull it off? Yes, yes she did! This is such an easy read, but with some topics that can be heavy. In my opinion this was dealt with very delicately and respectful 💛 The tropes just shouted my name!! The hotness is hot! The dirty talk is pantymelting! The k**s are 🫦🔥 Loved how these two fell in love, and how they communicated. They both deserve to find love, and to have someone by their side 💛

This is book 2 of the PEACHES Series about a group of guys that work at a club forming a humorous and flavorful found family. Written in alternating chapters duel POV, this rom-com doesn’t waste any time getting into the drama and emotions. Poor clumsy little Preston, who bartends at Peaches, walks in witnessing one of the most horrible things that could happen in a relationship. The more I learned, the more I became ok with un-a-living. Jonas, Peaches security and secret co-owner, a BIG guy with teddy bear feels, is a protector and caregiver. When he notices something is wrong with Preston… again… the urge to shield him from the hurtful world overtakes his brain and he offers something he normally would never, especially since he is more of a homebody loner with his cat. This book moves really fast, as did the first one. It doesn’t linger on plot details and focuses on being more character oriented. Now that Preston is free, he doesn’t have to hold back anymore and lets his real spitfire personality shine. He decides to create a Life Bucket List of things to do to take back his life. When he forces Jonas to join him, he has an epiphany moment. He hasn’t been living either, ever since the tragic loss he and Caleb experienced. This plot detail keeps the story trajectory…

I absolutely loved this one. It was even better than the last one and I did not think that was possible. I am loving this entire series and I cannot wait for the next book.

A cute romance of healing. My biggest weirdness was the idea that being cheated on was so terrible compared to losing the love of your life with death. That was goofy but the development of the relationship was good.

The story was so good though, I probably would have done that either way 😂 I'm happy to be back in the Peaches universe! This story follows our loveable, but clumsy bartender, Preston. He just found out that his bf cheated on him and he's heartbroken. Plus, now he's got nowhere to go! Jonas, who works as the head of security is always looking out for the guys and is fiercely protective. He's a widower who has a free room in his apartment. He offers it to Preston, as a temporary arrangement, after all, what are friends for? Moving in goes without a hitch, but with the two of them living in a limited space, they're bound to step on each other's toes. But seriously, I think I loved this one even more than the first! These two are the sweetest, cutest and have the best chemistry. I swear! They've had more than their fair share of heartbreak, and have put parts of their lives on hold. Living in a sort of limbo. It really makes you root for them especially bc they bring out the best in each other. Making a bucket list and helping each other with it. Encouraging the other to follow their dreams. It's all so cute, I could cry. They really did give me all the feels. Especially how they honor and respect his former spouse. Their nicknames for each other? Ugh. I'm weak.
