This book pulls you in and never lets you go! Wonderrul storyline and very well developed characters. Frankie and Dakota are both complex characters that are perfect together! It is sweet, funny with just the perfect amount of heat! Very well done! Buy it you won't regret it!
Always good! Lise Gold is brilliant.
This story of a young woman, lost and stuck in a broken down truck, on a dirt road, in the middle of the desert, at dusk and with no cell reception takes a happy turn when a beautiful cowgirl, leading some tourists on an evening ride shows up and turns into the love of her life. Very entertaining. You'll love it. A very interesting read. It kept my attention throughout. A slice of life. No drama or 3rd quarter breakup or miscommunication, just a beautiful love story.

Cute animals also romance
It's fun to read these books when the author clearly knew a lot and/or did a lot of research, in this case about desert flora and fauna and other fun details.
The main pair have a fairly easygoing "city mouse / country mouse" thing, and their chemistry is fun and engaging to read. Fun side characters.
Sex is rather explicit (not that there's anything wrong with that) and very steamy. Fun variety too, little bit of bondage.
I've been enduring a long dry spell inferior Sapphic romance; in the last few years the genre seems to have gone down hill just as its popularity as been rising and several authors I really liked have either stopped writing or are churning out subpar work. So this story was a welcome relief! The people are great, the setting is great, the themes are great and best of all, as another reviewer already has said (and I quote): "No drama or 3rd quarter breakup or miscommunication, just a beautiful love story." Spot on! Bravo!
Thank you a 1000 times to Lise Gold for telling a story that does not hinge on silly, overblown drama and the main characters' shallow, contrived neuroses! More like this, please!
I don't know when ranch style romances became a favorite of mine, but they're here to stay!
This one had a lot of what I enjoy - a damsel in distress, a cowgirl hero with a big heart for animals, big city vs. small town vibes, great chemistry, a super sweet romantic gesture in the end, and it was by Lise Gold, MadeleineTaylor! A swoon-worthy read!
