Alexandra sure does know how to get ur attention from Chapter 1. The baby shower…. what away to start with a BANG 🥵. Cal, small town teacher, where Blake grow up wealthy and works for a family business. Blake and Cal grew up on opposites side of social class but these two were so prefect for each other. I know that it started out as Fake Dating so Blake didn’t have to deal with his mother, but I felt their connection right away. Alexandra was a way of writing words . I could feel Cala grief and heart break, and Blake’s struggles with his mom. But I could also feel the their love and support growing throughout their story .

Cal and Blake's connection is instant after just making eye contact. How either one of them ever thought they would be able to fake date is beyond me! I was not expecting that private side to Cal. Up until this point he has been carefree and happy but he hides something deep. So deep only his sister and brother-in-law know about it. When he confides in Blake so quickly I knew he would be a goner for him. I love how he feels comfortable with Blake to share his secrets.
