Description

The arena dust never really settles for the cowboys of the professional rodeo circuit, and for the three Brazilian riders shaking up the competition, the stakes have never been higher. In this latest installment of the Roughstock series, the grit of the chutes meets the profound vulnerability of the human heart. Life on the road is defined by bone-deep exhaustion, the thundering rhythm of hooves, and the rare, stolen moments of connection that make the danger worth the toll. As these men navigate the physical intensity of their sport, they find themselves caught in a complex web of attraction and loyalty. It is a story about finding a home in someone else when your life is defined by constant movement. The narrative captures the raw, masculine world of bull riding while peeling back the layers of pride and ambition to reveal the tender, yearning men underneath. Whether they are grappling with the pressure of a championship ride or the quiet uncertainty of a growing affection, their journey is both visceral and deeply moving. Fans of character-driven sports romance will cherish this exploration of brotherhood, passion, and the courage it takes to let someone in when the world expects you to remain tough as leather.

Brazilian Cowboy Goodnness

The more I read of this series, the more I love it. We're back in the rough and tumble world of professional rodeoing. Three Brazilians have made their mark on the circuit - Balta, Joa, and Raul. Balta has been there the longest and his relationship with Joa is solid. They are deeply committed to one another, but Balta senses the younger man's attraction to Raul. And truth be told, he's also attracted to the man. Raul thinks Joa might be the most beautiful man he's ever seen but knows that Joa and Balta are together. Joa finds himself feeling bad about noticing Raul, but Balta sees through all the complications to a brighter future for all of them. Once again these cowboys are messy, intense, and sweet in a way I'm never expecting. They all may be rough around the edges but they are the truest loves once they commit to one another. I know this series will be a comfort read for me for a long time. Highly, highly recommend this one and the whole series.
