Description

In the cutthroat world of Manhattan’s elite, Mason has always been a man defined by his reputation for cold-blooded ambition. Within the high-stakes landscape of the Manhattan Ruthless series, he stands as a figure of power and mystery, carefully guarding the secrets that simmer beneath his polished exterior. But every armor has a crack, and for Mason, that vulnerability arrives in the form of a connection that defies the rigid boundaries he has constructed for himself. As the narrative unfolds, we are pulled into a high-octane atmosphere where betrayal, desire, and survival collide. This isn’t just a story about the pursuit of dominance in the city that never sleeps; it is an emotionally charged exploration of what happens when two men find themselves on opposite sides of a complicated game, only to realize the stakes have shifted from professional conquest to matters of the heart. With its relentless pacing and deeply moving romantic tension, the story takes readers on a rollercoaster that is as heartbreaking as it is addictive. It is a bold, unapologetic look at love found in the shadows of power, proving that even the most ruthless players are eventually forced to drop their guard.

A good book

Must say never have I enjoyed or read a Male romance book but I have enjoyed this series so decided to give it a try and must say I enjoyed the story not so much the spicy parts but they weren’t overwhelming throughout the book. Looking forward to Mace and his story.

Playboy and his King!

This was a fantastic story and worth so many more stars than five! Mason is from a family of boys and all are comfortable in their selves including Mason even after he meets King but they both go thru so much together and apart.King isn't comfortable about coming out and he has so much more to fight and he has doubts and it doesn't help that his father is a douche bag and I'm putting that polite way.King and Mason wasted so much time away from each other that it takes a case in the James family to bring King back in Mason's eyes. They go thru alot together and it still causes them to split from time or two but it just makes them stronger when they are together. Mason has a secret that involves King's father and King didn't know that this had happen and it just hate for his father and King also thinks his father has something to do with a missing women and when King comes up missing Mason fines out another side of King that he kept hidden since he was eighteen. All I can say King's parents got their just desserts for the type of parents they were greedy, jealous, hateful and thank God Mason and the Ryan's found him in time.It made King get over some of his hang ups and Mason's family made him feel loved, part of the family! So good.

3.5 Stars

This was pretty good overall. I didnt really always vibe with the mcs though. King on multiple occasions rubbed me the wrong way and while I enjoyed their hea there were multiple times that I thought Mason was too forgiving. I do think the story itself was overall written fairly well and keep me interested enough to read the entire book.

A new twist for the brothers

Mason & King had to work so to overcome their history. Each has their own fears and vulnerabilities to overcome and believe in each other. Very emotionally charged.
