❤️ Loving You Is The Strongest Thing I've Ever Done ❤

"I know this man is going to ruin me. Again. He's going to dismantle everything I've built. Take away everything I've earned after clawing my way back from shame. He's going to rip it all away from me. Just like he did before." "It's not jealousy or apprehension or even heart-burn. It's far worse than that. It's....want." "It's like he crafted his personality from a manual titled 'How to make Brody Miller's d*** hard and life difficult vol. 1." "Is this how you want it? Want me to hold you down and ride your a** while you writhe beneath me?" "They're still pretending that he's not mine, and I don't like that. He's mine. Mine. Mine. F****** mine." "You'll belong to me in all the ways. Not just your bratty little attitude and your mouth and a**. Down to your marrow, Becky. You. Will. Be. Mine." "Loving you is the strongest thing I've ever done. It feels like gaining a level of strength I didn't know existed. I am proud to belong to you, Brody. To be yours." I have been waiting for this book to come out and now I'm sad that this series is over. This was a fantastic book and now one of my favorites in this series. I love how this author always writes about real world problems. She doesn't shy away from important issues, problems, and ugly things happening in this world. She writes with justice and care. Her stories are always fleshed out and the spice is top-notch 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The emotional aspect and trauma/hurt/comfort is written flawlessly. This story follows Brody and…

I wrestled with my feelings on this.. Pun intended.

Story:4.5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Tropes: Enemies to Lovers, rivals, bully, dom sub, hurt comfort, damaged past, rich poor. I really struggled with my feelings towards Beckett for most of this book. He was just kind of a jerk, stuck in the closet and afraid of his daddy. This caused him to be a bully to Brody, who absolutely did not deserve a single ounce of bad treatment. I just wanted to hug Brody and slap Beckett with a slimy fish. K, moving on. Beckett and Brody are both very talented wrestlers at an Ivy league college. Beckett comes from money and Brody is a poor scholarship kid with a sad past and family problems. The chemistry between these boys is lust at first sight. Which creates problems for Beckett since it was while he was at a wrestling competition wearing a tiny skin tight singlet uniform… whoops!! … Beckett also has a girlfriend and an overbearing dad but can’t manage to wrestle away his desire for our sweet and bossy Brody. I did enjoy the angst and the sensual tension between these two. I can appreciate that Beckett was trying to appear straight for many reasons, but his bullying and allowing others to bully Brody made me not respect him as a character. Eventually he does redeem himself, and I did enjoy Brody taking charge and putting Beckett in his place.. so to speak. Giggity. Tehehe. Anywho, I have enjoyed this series and I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys sports MM romance!

10/10

I absolutely devoured this book 😍🥵 I loveeeeee this series and have been waiting so patiently for this one to be released. And now it’s one of my top favorites in the series 🖤 My heart broke for both of these boys. Beck, our black cat, is a perfectionist, closed off, and doesn’t understand what to do with his emotions sometimes. I hated the expectations he put on himself but it was understandable after getting scenes with his father and seeing the way he spoke to him. I adored his relationship with Caty 🫶🏻 and getting to see those sneak peeks into his true personality underneath that mask he wears. And Brody. Sweet, baby, golden retriever Brody 😭 he has such a kind and gentle heart. He has a lot of family struggles which immature teammates love to prey on. But seeing him get through that while continuously just trying to live his best life and be positive makes him so strong 🖤 The dynamic and chemistry between these two is insane 🔥 the dirty mouth on Brody????? UNEXPECTED 🥵 the push and pull between these two was everything and every single scene with them was just beyond HOT 🔥🔥🔥 It took so long for Beck to finally let that mask slip and be his true self with Brody and his family but once he did, it was well worth the wait 🖤😭 they truly have the most beautiful relationship. I adore the relationship he builds with his family because he needed that just as badly as he needed Brody. And I’m extremely happy that the ending hinted towards his dad making an…

Spicy & Emotional

Pinned Down by Rebecca Rathe really surprised me with how well it balanced emotional depth and heat. This is a very character-driven romance. The story leans into vulnerability, quiet longing, and the slow burn of two people figuring out what they want and whether they’re brave enough to reach for it. Rathe excels at writing internal conflict and those small, charged moments that say more than big speeches ever could. The dynamic between Beck and Brody is where this book truly shines. Their push and pull feels natural and grounded, and the emotional stakes stay strong throughout. Beck being Brody’s “good girl” was handled in a way that felt affirming, intentional, and rooted in trust rather than gimmick, which made their connection hit even harder. And yes, the spice was amazing. It was confident, well-paced, and perfectly matched to the emotional intimacy that had been built beforehand. The chemistry felt earned, not rushed, and every intimate moment carried weight because of the care put into the characters. If you’re looking for a romance that blends strong character work, meaningful power dynamics, and genuinely great spice, Pinned Down is absolutely worth the read. It’s the kind of book that lingers with you long after you finish it.

Beck and Brody ❤️🔥

Rebecca Rathe proves once again why she is an insta buy author for me. This series is seriously so amazing and I literally devoured every single book, and this one was no different. This book takes us back to Huntson University! This time to the wrestling team, although a few very recognizable baseball players do make a cameo! Beck and Brody's story grabbed me from page one and never let go. Brody is literally a golden retriever with BDE, and a literal big 🍆 to back it up! He is so sweet and literally tries to make life easier for every person around him, even those that don't deserve it. He is so strong even through relentless harassment, stays true to who he is. Beck is struggling with the truth of who he really is, and what he wants. He is wound so tight he just needs an escape. A way to let some of who he truly is out before he shatters. Brody is that person for him. He allows Beck to be his true self with no judgement, just unwavering support. The growth that Beck undergoes highlights Rebecca Rathe's ability to create characters that are dynamic, and real. This book made me laugh (looking at you Ms. Delia), cry (thanks Davis and your speech IYKYK), and swoon (this one is on you Brody). Not to mention the spice. 🥵🔥 sizzling as ALWAYS. I cannot wait for whatever comes next!
