quite cute…

When you go to get married and you’re still married to your supposed to be ex-wife…God is trying to tell you something,” are the words from Shug in “The Color Purple. This should be considered a divine intervention. Claire’s fiancée is everything that Claire thought she wanted Vickie to be. Except she wasn’t. She was a sweet, kind, and gentle person that had been dealt a bad hand in life. Claire saw the beauty in her when they first met and fell in love just as Vickie did. However, having been raised well off, it was hard for her to reconcile someone like Vickie fitting into her highly organized and highbrow lifestyle, friends and family. Too bad. Because that was her soulmate. When Claire finds out that they’re still married. She thought it would be a simple process to rectify a mistake that happened ten years ago when she thought they had been divorced. The story picks up from there. Now Claire has to come face to face with the wife she abandoned without a second thought. Ten years ushers in a lot of changes. It makes her wonder if she gave up too soon and also misunderstood something profoundly fundamental about Vickie. I so wanted Vickie to get her HEA. She deserved it.

My second chance

I love this series and especially this story. Second chances are needed, and a lot of time ⏲️we don't allow that
