Description

Prince Alistair has spent his life shackled by the gilded cage of monarchy, performing the role of the perfect heir while burying his true self beneath layers of duty. He is the crown jewel of a kingdom that demands perfection, yet he craves the chaos of a life lived on his own terms. Enter Julian, a self-made billionaire whose raw, unapologetic rebellion challenges everything the Prince understands about power and desire. Their connection is electric, born from stolen glances and the dangerous friction between a world of tradition and a world of absolute freedom. This is not just a story of wealth and status; it is a profound exploration of identity and the courage required to love without permission. As Alistair and Julian navigate the treacherous waters of public scrutiny and private longing, they must decide if their love is worth the cost of the empires they represent. This romance brings a refreshing emotional depth to the renegade archetype, moving beyond simple defiance to examine the vulnerability of being seen for who you truly are. It is a heartfelt, lingering journey of self-discovery that proves the most powerful revolution is the one that happens within the heart.

Benny is so perfect!

If you read the first and had to come back for more, you’ll be thrilled to know that even though the vibe is a bit different, the story is just as good if not better. I absolutely loved Harper and Benny which was a relief because the little bit of Harper that we got in the first book… well, I wasn’t sold on him as a main character. Glad to be wrong! Getting to see where these books intersect from another perspective was also really enjoyable. 4.5 stars for me and I can’t wait for the next.

Prince and Bear

The emotional depth Marlow brings to the "renegade" archetype feels so refreshing because it isn't just about rebellion. It's an ode to the terrifying cost of loyalty and the bravery it takes to choose yourself and your person over the world. I was pulled in on page 1 and by halfway I was consumed by the burn. If you're looking for a story that is gritty and deeply romantic, this is it. It's dark and intense and the way Benny and Harpy find their missing pieces in each other is incredibly rewarding and so well deserved.
