Description

Finn is looking for a fresh start. After years defined by work and isolation in Chicago, he follows his sister to Edmonton, hoping that a change of scenery will finally give him space to find a real, tangible connection. The only snag in his plan is his secret obsession: Gunner, a captivating cam performer on the app Money Shot. Finn is convinced he’s ready to leave his digital infatuation behind, but fate has a strange sense of humor. Enter Curtis, the charismatic, commitment-phobic best man at his sister’s upcoming wedding. There is something undeniably electric and familiar about him—a spark in his eyes and a rhythm to his movements that keeps drawing Finn in. When the pieces finally click and Finn realizes that his offline attraction and his online idol are the same man, his world tilts on its axis. Navigating this reality is a precarious balancing act. How do you pursue a man who doesn’t know you’ve been watching him behind a screen? As the lines between his digital fantasy and his complicated real-life attraction blur, Finn must decide if he’s willing to risk everything for a shot at a love that was written in the stars—and the pixels.

Another amazing Sadenverse

I don’t think I will ever not be obsessed with the Sadenverse and the characters they create! Finn was just an absolute sweetheart and really embodies the definition of a gentle giant. He’s a flustering mess but has the biggest heart. And Curtis has very much black cat energy but he’s still just as fun of a character. He’s definitely more closed off and doesn’t like any form of vulnerability, but their personalities mesh so well. The banter between Finn and Curtis is just *chefs kiss* from the exact moment they meet. They seamlessly switch from funny, to flirty, to such intense tension that you think “this is the moment they finally snap” 😍 I’ve read the Cam Boy x Subscriber trope before but I can honestly say this is my favorite. There’s usually so much angst, deceit, and fights that go into this trope. And even thought Finn did lie about knowing Gunner’s identity, Curtis knew deep down that poor Finn was just an awkward mess and didn’t know how to bring it up to him 😭 but honestly the apology scene had me cracking UP 🤣 if we’re being realistic here, there’s no way I’d be able to stay mad at Finn either. Both characters frustrated me at times but I was never annoyed to the point of wanting to put this book down. This was yet another book of theirs that I will think about for the rest of my life 🖤

Four stars!

This was such a fun read! I love the camboy trope and always think it adds another layer of spiciness to the story. Finn and Curtis were a joy to read and Mel and David's determination to set them up from the start was so funny. I love the support these two were constantly being shown from their friends and family and their own personal growth throughout the story while they find their way to each other. Eden and Saxon always crush it and this one was no exception!

“For what it’s worth, you’re maybe the bravest person I know.”

I always rely on these authors when I need a spicy and fun time and this definitely delivered. At times it definitely got on my nerves because I felt that there was a lot of emotional immaturity between these characters, but they were cute. Definitely recommend the audio for this one.

Very much enjoyed

Great, character-driven story. Finn and Curtis are delightful. It’s painful to watch Curtis work through his issues, but overall low-angst.

Chefs Kiss!

Omgosh I love Finn!! I am so happy that Curtis has David because if he didn’t open his eyes to what Finn and he deserve I would’ve jumped into this book and done it myself. One million and ten percent recommend this!!
