When I finished reading this book I messaged Nordika and my exact message was: “GIRL! I don’t know how these two absolutely beautiful people came out of your brain but it is such a magical thing. I honestly could cry with how much love I have for this story. These two are perfect, your story is perfect. Amazing work. Be so stinking proud of yourself!” I think that says everything I need to say really! But I love to talk so I’mma keep going.
It is no secret that I am in love with Maddox. I have discussed it in length with my husband because he needs to know my heart is also in love with another. Don’t worry, people. I would never want to steal fictional Maddox away from fictional Devon. They are made for each other.
I have thought long and hard as to why I gravitate towards Maddox, and the answer is quite easy…I see so much of myself in Devon. His insecurities, his sensitivity, his drive to always want to try so hard for the ones he loves and then fails in an epic way. This is me. I am Devon. I love his spirit and I love his tenacity. He deserves every ounce of love that Maddox gives him because every Maddox needs a Devon. And every Devon needs a Maddox. So of course I love Maddox, because I will always need a Maddox.
So aside from the absolute perfect love story between these two, this book does not stop on the drama. My gosh. The Garron Park world is no joke, people. They deal with some serious stuff! And yes, it will likely make you cry a bit, but is a book really all…
This was a continuation of Maddox and Devon's story and it was just as good as the first book. It still had the angst, but also love and devotion. They went through so much, but their love always prevailed. It didn't matter that they came from nothing and had nothing, as long as they had one another. So glad they got their HEA!
This one gets all the stars! Maddox Kane and Devon Sawyer are back at each other’s throats again, giving out hand necklaces left and right, and I couldn’t have been more stoked to see what else these two would get up to. This one was a wild ride and I loved every second of it.
After reading Garron Park, I was excited to see we were going back to that trailer park to read about the future that Maddox and Devon were taking for themselves. These two don’t just get an easy “happily ever after” either. That rivalry is still there, they still challenge one another, and egg each other on. They’re not all lovey dove-y like some couples might be once they’re together. They are still each other’s biggest competition and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Frankly, neither would I. The way these two fight for each other and fight with each other is refreshing.
Then there’s Xavi and Nate. I loved those two in the first book because of how supportive they were and how they meddled into their brothers’ lives because they saw the potential that Maddox and Devon had. Xavi and Nate’s support and scheming are in the second book, too and I loved them even more. They were still there for their brothers despite their own troubles.
I received this book as an ARC and I dropped my current read for this. I have zero regrets. There was great plot, angst, spice, jokes, quotes, friendship, brotherhood, writing, and all with a great ending too. I cannot wait to see what else that trailer park has…
A gritty, emotional punch to the gut (in the best way)

2025 reread: I'm re-reading this time with the newly released audiobook and as with Garron Park, Brandon Francis and Gabriel Michael absolutely become Maddox and Devon. Their performances breathe even more life into characters who already feel so painfully real.
Lot 62 picks up about a year after Garron Park, and let me tell you, these two still can’t catch a break. Life doesn’t magically get easier just because they’re in love, if anything, cohabitation and survival only intensify their bond and their struggles. The dynamic between Maddox and Devon is raw, obsessive, co-dependent and yet somehow incredibly beautiful. Is it toxic? Maybe. But it's also, powerful, magnetic, and unapologetically raw and honest.
What I love most about this book is how it doesn’t shy away from the mess. These boys are trying so hard to hold it together with threats closing in, trauma lingering, and emotions running high. But through it all, their love is the anchor. The kind that isn’t always pretty, but feels earned.
If you loved Garron Park, Lot 62 is a must. Just be ready to feel everything.

I love Maddox and Devon but there was a lot going on in this book. It sort of dragged towards the end but still enjoyable.
