This book has everything I love. Great story, believable characters, and lots of action. The world building is thorough and believable but is integrated into the story so it doesn't slow the reader down. I really hope there are more books coming in this series because I want to see these characters again and again.

Secrets revealed and new mysteries crop up!
This second in the series delved even deeper into the citizens of Tenebrae Cove and I found I’m even more invested in the goings-on in far Tasmania. The mysteries continue to evolve and the fated mates find each other.
In this one, Tobin tries hard to resist the pull to Fray. His past makes him wary of permanence. Fray is resigned to being alone in his feelings. The arrival of an ancient being sets the community on a path of defense they’ve not seen. Forces are in place to change Tenebrae Cove’s way of life.
There were a few POVs in this book which I loved. We’re getting more and more perspectives but there are more to learn about!
I’m waiting with bated breath for more from Tenebrae Cove. Salem! The mystery and adventures continue. Love this paranormal romance series!

This is a paranormal story with mm romance, it’s the second book in a series that has to be read in order. Book two starts off where book 1 left us in Tenebrae Cove with an other worldliness of mysteries happening. This story is told from multiple perspectives and I love that as it’s important to understand what’s happening in a particular character’s mind at that point! The characters are fantastically developed and the worldbuilding makes me feel like I was dropped right into the story! I so rarely get surprised with a story and this one really delivers!!
Danger, mystery, paranormal activity, & matings
I very much enjoyed going back to Tenebrae Cove to see this lovely cast of characters. This book is quite different from the first book, as it features a number of matings in quick succession, with a large focus on Fray and Toby, likely tied to the rising of the mysterious deep ocean creature. There is mystery, plenty of action, danger, and paranormal activity. While the book ends completely and in a very good place, it leaves room for offshoots to other groups and people. I hope we get to revisit Tenebrae Cove again or one of the other locations mentioned. There also is the possibility of other creatures emerging from the deep. Can't wait!
