Ignite: Sinro Enterprises, Book 1

Wow. Just wow. This book was a rollercoaster ride of awesome. I read it in one day start to finish. I couldn’t put it down. Ezra, Cain, Rev, and the whole entire crew just drew me in so completely that I couldn’t wait to discover the end to their story. Ezra was the most amazing character. He experience a literal hell on earth and never let that stop him from getting back up and continuing to fight for his right to survive. Not only for himself, but for others too. I was drawn in by his resilience, by his sass, and by his vulnerability. I’m so incredibly proud of the man he became, the fire the little his soul alight once he found his tribe. He showed that it’s okay to be broken, to be a work in progress, to need help. He’s just so amazing. Cain, I loved, but he had to work for it. Honestly that makes me like him more too though. His aggression, mistrusting nature, and guardedness seemed very authentic. But once Ezra finally broke down those last few walls (completely unintentionally for once), he became a completely different man with him. He also finally showed that he really did deserve Ezra’s love and affection. I have to say, though, in SO LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE!!! I am personally invested in Rev and his story. I really really hope that we’ll see more of this universe and these characters. Part of me is wondering if Rev and Alaric will end up together. Idk why, they only spoke to each other literally once the entire book, but the vibes were there! But I’ll be good…

I loved this book! The characters were so layered and dynamic with dark mixed with humor for a perfect balance of breaking your heart and putting it back together and levity. Jakey was the sweetest and Rev was such an interesting character! I would love a book about him too! But the chemistry and banter between the main characters had my heart. Cain x Ezra forever!

OMG the perfect book exists. I will be rereading again and again. Onto the next book! ( please note my rating is based on the fact that everything about this book is MY cup of tea. hurt/comfort mm with traumatic backstories, MH, explosions, vigilantes and murder? AND it’s super well written with no plot holes?? *chefs kiss*. ) It’s dark and gory, so heed the TWs!

Wow! I loved this one. 😍😍😍 I don’t know what it was about Ezra and Cain that got my heart racing, but 🥹 I LOVED them. I especially loved how this book proceeded without front-loading a ton of exposition. It dropped you right into the middle of the story and let you figure it out as you went. I’m a sucker for a thief. I’m a sucker for a dominant, battle-hardened man with a soft, gooey center. I’m a sucker for found family and great secondary characters and interconnected love stories. This book was just made for me. 🥰 Sure, there was an instant connection (not quite insta-LOVE), but I don’t mind that as long as it develops into something real. Though it may have started with an undeniable attraction, Ezra and Cain slowly grew to deeply know each other, faults and sins, past and presents, fears and dreams. While I always love a protective, possessive hero, Cain exceeded my expectations by not ever seeing Ezra as too delicate, in need of a big strong man to protect him. Instead, he gave him the skills and the confidence to protect HIMSELF— and picked up the pieces every time Ezra shattered. Ezra himself was such a quirky little sweetheart. Add in the phenomenal secondary characters who promise a GREAT series— namely Rev 😍😍😍 and Cain’s brothers— and some truly hateable villains, and the author’s really got something here. I’m SO looking forward to Rev’s story (though I don’t buy his diagnosis as a “psychopath”). The man’s a dangerous, brutal, perceptive and caring…

Saying Ezra has had a hard life in an understatement! From foster home to a living he’ll have made him the man he is today, all his quirks included. Throw in Cain who just happens to get a glimpse of him at a bad moment and then a follow up meeting? Sparks fly. The evolution of Ezra with the help of Cain and Sinro is amazing. Good read, triggers are a must as scenes are alluded to
