Love this book!
I am a Domme (of several decades, professionally recruited and trained in Boston in the early 1990s), and love when BDSM/kink is portrayed well. It can be a light dance into it, or it can be deeper. Done well is the key though (IMO). Consent, consent, consent. BUT! Also... informed. Properly, and well informed. And, safely.
I envy Ruby's journey. I wish I could be like her. To experience in that way. While I got to experience all of the toys and tools, and even while I do love pain (as a stimulation vehicle), I am simply unable to submit enough.
GREAT story, and great inclusion of kink! Really curious if either or both of the authors ever experienced either side, or were involved/exposed for a longer period of time...

One of my favorite books by MT/LG. Love the story. Well written. The story, for lack of better words, had a touch of everything - grief, friendship, love, sexuality, and so much more. And I loved Zeus’ personality - a main character in his own way.
This book has guided me thru a wonderful tale and fleshed out all the characters to well rounded interesting ppl I adore. Please share more of their story.

Thank you Lise for another great read❤️😍
I believe this to be the 8th book by Lise Gold, that I have either read, listened to, and in some cases both. 💕
In a sense, I have traveled around the world with her, and thankfully, enjoyed every moment. ☺️
The title of this novel I find to be a little misleading. 🤔
One would guess, that it might be a well written erotic novel (which it can be at times) however it is so much more than that, and it would be selling it short to consider it as such.
I adore Greece, and its culture and geography. While reading, I was allowed to conjure up its sights and its traditional people, both wealthy and common.
I felt like I was being guided both socially and geographically, facilitated by the romantic couple who allowed me to accompany them as they healed their grief, explored their passions and competed against centuries old traditions.
Thank you for taking me on this emotional and geographical journey.

Ps: I had a hunch that Zara was introduced to us for more than literary wall paper 🤩
I actually expected this book to be one thing, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was so much more!
Ruby and Athena are both extremely successful women, newly neighbors, and each indulge in their careers as an excuse to remain single. As they get to know each other, they quickly learn that they have one thing above all else, in common - they both know grief. And so begins their beautiful journey of letting go, letting someone in, and falling in love again.
Ok and yes - it's quite spicy! 💥🔥❤️🔥🌶
