Description

Sam Maxwell has spent her life building an empire, brick by punishing brick, only to find herself staring down the barrel of her own mortality. After surviving three heart attacks, she is warned that her time is rapidly expiring. When a cryptic, near-death vision plants the name Serena in her mind, the cynical, guarded billionaire abandons her high-stakes existence and retreats to a remote Dalmatian island, searching for a miracle she doesn’t believe in. There, she encounters Serena Car, a silver-haired healer whose presence carries the weight of ancient magic and quiet, soul-deep peace. Far from the glass skyscrapers and cold logic of Sam’s world, Serena operates in a realm of natural currents and emotional restoration. As the island’s beauty begins to strip away Sam’s impenetrable armor, a fragile, magnetic connection sparks between these two opposites. Heart of Fire is a slow-burn sapphic romance that explores the brutal cost of ambition and the salvation found in vulnerability. It is a story of two women from vastly different worlds finding common ground in the space between life and death. Ultimately, it is a testament to the idea that the most profound healing isn't found in a doctor’s room, but in the arms of the one soul meant to hold you.

This story will touch your soul

This is a story about patience, not being afraid enough to let go and trust. I enjoyed this story full of life lessons, some of which I have ignored most of my life. I always learn something from V. Dalmatina's storys. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Really, really good book.

Fun and Spicy

I really enjoyed this spicy romance; I think it is my favorite book in this series. It had a good progression and kept me interested throughout. I look forward to her next book.
