Both our heroines are a bit tired of their current roles, but perhaps all they really need is a new perspective.
This is book three of the series, but it is written as a standalone.
This is a paranormal romance of the FF variety offering a different twist on the old Greek myths. The story is well written and easy to read with a fun setting that is enjoyable to explore. The characters are are the main focus and they are also well done and very enjoyable. I really enjoyed this twist on the old stories and I look forward to more in the series.
Highly recommended.

Callie is the current Dionysus (if you're new to the series, go back and start at book 1, just kidding, gods/goddesses are positions filled by normal people, lasting 5 years or so) and she just isn't feeling the position. It's dull and boring to her and she just can't find her spark for it anymore.
Selena is the daughter of a devoted vineyard owner who is sent to make a donation to Dionysus and ask for fogiveness from the goddess. Many weeks of oportune meetings and Selena and Callie find what they both didn't know they needed, each other.
This was a great story. Finding love isn't always easy, and sometimes we have to work a job we don't want after we get it, but you just keep on till you train someone else to do it.

I really like Greek mythology and this is a new take on it. It's part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.
So the gods and goddesses have a seven year term and Callie, as the goddess of wine has a little over a year left to hers. She is very disenchanted with the job and just going through the motions until one day she is mistaken for a cleaner in the temple by Selena. The brief conversation leaves Callie with a new outlook on her job.
Selena along with her mother and brother are running a vineyard in the south.
This is a very easy read and an interesting take on the myth.
Harvest of Dionysus by Arizona Tape is a sweet book in their Queens of Olympus series. I enjoyed how human Callie was as the current Dionysus, actually bored with making wine the magical way. It was fun to watch her interactions with Selena the winemaker before Selena believed Callie was the Dionysus. It was almost like seeing the grape vines turn flowers into grapes for wine. Everything has a time and a season, as Callie learns in her last few months as Dionysus. While this book can be read as a stand-alone, it is better appreciated as part of the Olympus series. I like trying to guess who the author will write about next from the hints given in the story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
