A Trilogy That Stole My Heart (and Expanded My Playlist)
Loved it so much, the second book in this trilogy is just as amazing as the first one. I was totally invested in the characters, their whole world, and it made me really want to visit Nashville one day. I am a Hungarian living in the UK, and I'm not that into country music at all, but this and the first book made me listen to so much out of curiosity, and it made my musical world richer. Totally worth it for that too, but gosh, these books are just so good. I couldn't stop to take a break to write a review after this one, so I’m actually writing this after finishing the third book as well. Long live Cassie, Lane, and the whole Grace universe! Warmly recommended.

sort of twisted but really good
This followup in the series shows a ton more story about all the characters in book 1. And adds a few more, relating the back woods country Savannah came from. And the horrific background of the street wise Lane. I really liked Cassidys growth and the romance was sweet for the HEA. I was a little confused how Lane was only boy on the top and apparently girl on the bottom. But thats just because Ruby never clarified much until one particular sex scene. Great read and i love how this leads into book 3. Cant wait.
If you enjoyed book 1 then you need to read book 2
Lane is a delicious character, you meet them in book 1, but in book 2 you really get the book told halfway from their point of view. You also get more of the characters you fell in love with in book 1. This was a five star read for me, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
And the audiobook review
Ruby Landers has quickly become an automatic buy, and Quinn Riley does a superb job of giving all of the characters Ruby wrote a voice. Graceless continues where Falls From Grace left off, this time focusing on Cassidy (Savannah’s half sister) and Lane. It’s hard to like Cassidy at first because of her hostility towards almost everyone, and her ignorance about gender and sexuality. But the longer she is away from her parents the nicer she becomes, until you start to understand her character more and what motivates her. Lane is still Lane, the lovable nanny to Tucker from book one, but we start to learn more about them including their early years, hopes and ambitions, and they’ve become quite the lady killer. They’re more confident in their body after top surgery, and it was interesting to learn about what motivates their behavior in this story. It’s wonderful that Savannah and Bryn are still such an active part of this story, and Savannah definitely goes through some stuff in this but I’m not going to spoil it for you.
Overall this is a fantastic story that makes you think about what defines a family, how they aren’t always perfect, but that the truest family loves you unconditionally.

This is a perfect book two in a series, a continuation of book one that not only brings in new characters, and develops old well loved side characters, but parts of it still read from book one main duo's POV. I'm a sucker for books with multiple POV and this was done well, with good shifts in narrative voice and plenty of development for everyone. Brynn didn't have much of an arc, but didn't need one with everyone else having their own arcs or sub plots, and getting to see her being in a really emotionally stable place and acting as everyone's solid support was awesome. It has me ready for the drop of book 3!

The second book in the series didn’t disappoint!
Sometimes when you read the first book in a series of books, the second book doesn’t quite live up to the first so you think “well, it will be downhill from here” and you don’t bother moving on to the third. That is NOT the case with this trilogy. I absolutely must read the third book in this trio. Ms. Landers writes characters that are not only engaging and interesting, but worthy of holding your attention to see what will happen next in their story. In the end, you find yourself hoping for the best for this family of characters and looking forward to the next chapter.
