True to one's self
Ashley James left the best of the Moore Men for last. Gentry was everything! And Remi was equally as wonderful!
Gentry was the perfect grump! I loved his frankness and awkwardness. His love for his family was heartwarming and his backstory was relatable on so many levels. His relationship with his children was just wonderful, the way they all accepted and championed each other took my breath away.
Remington has been such a fun character to hang out with throughout this series. He may have seemed somewhat superficial at first, always flirting and messing with the other characters, but he really was so much more. He was sensitive and sympathetic, responsible and loving, light and complex at the same time. I’m so happy he found his HEA with Gentry.
Now having had the experience of listening to the AUDIOBOOK, I will say that it managed to elevate an already amazing story. Teddy Hamilton as Remi and Stephen Borne as Gentry were perfection! Teddy voiced the perfect flirt and Stephen a more seasoned and mature man. Bravo!
Inspired by this book’s dedication, I’ll say that no one should ever have to hide or shrink themselves to fit into what society deems acceptable. Thank you, Ashley James, for creating a world where acceptance rules, love is freely given and family knows no bounds.
