Description

For years, Gem has been the silent backbone of the pack, masking his true desires behind a wall of stoic duty. He is a man defined by his strength, his secrets, and the ghosts of his past that refuse to stay buried. But when his path collides with the enigmatic Luca, the carefully constructed equilibrium of Gem’s life begins to fracture. Set against a backdrop of Regency-era elegance and the raw, primal intensity of werewolf hierarchy, their connection is anything but simple. Their journey is a volatile dance of pride, stubbornness, and undeniable chemistry. Between the phantom whispers haunting the pack lands and the brutal reality of their fighting pits, Gem and Luca must strip away their masks to survive the dangers closing in on them. This installment of the PAHL series delivers a high-stakes romance where the tension is as palpable as the passion. Readers will finally see the man who watched his brothers find happiness accept his own vulnerability. From the shocking twists that change everything to the hard-won intimacy between two men who fought tooth and nail to claim one another, this story is a gripping, erotic, and deeply emotional addition to the series you cannot miss.

Gem

Gem and Luca finally took off their masks!! I couldn’t wait for Gem to get his own book and it didn’t disappoint. The twist of Gem having a boy instead of being a boy and it being Dom/Sub and not a daddy story added such a new perspective to the series. I loved how dominant and protective Luka was on the ice and how much he needed submission off the ice. The reverse age gap was another twist that added dimension. They may not have started out on a typical path but it worked for them. This was an excellent read and I can’t wait for their trip to Hawaii.

A definite must-read!

This is another great story in the PAHL series. Athena once again captures your attention from the start and you don't want to put this book down until you finish it. Gem and Luka's story is not the daddy/boy story like Aries and Nix's story, but still follows the theme where dominant character (Gem) giving his boy (Luka) what he needs. You'll learn more about the same side characters from the previous book and the great relationship the triplets have with each other. It's heartwarming and a definite on my re-read list.

Too short!

I think this one may have been rushed. It needed a little more to finish up. It was good but Aries was for sure the best one of the three.
