Description

The road to love is rarely a straight shot, especially when your life is played out on the professional hockey rink. In From Coast to Coast, the long-awaited fourth installment of the Offsides series, the stakes have never been higher. As our beloved protagonists navigate the grueling pressures of the league, they are forced to confront the distance—both physical and emotional—that threatens to pull them apart. This installment shines by digging deep into the friction between career ambition and personal happiness. Fans will recognize the sharp, irreverent wit and delightful sass that have become the series' trademark, but this journey adds a poignant layer of vulnerability. Watching these characters evolve as they battle their own insecurities makes for an deeply cathartic experience; it is not just a sports romance, but a heartfelt exploration of what it truly means to build a life with someone. Whether you are here for the high-octane hockey drama or the slow-burn chemistry that has kept readers hooked from the start, this book delivers. It is a soul-soothing, satisfying conclusion that proves that no matter how many miles lie between two people, the right connection is worth the trek.

Loved this one

Loved this one! Gray and Remy were both great! :) I really enjoyed how Remy embraced his growing attraction to Gray and never questioned what that meant for him. Gray's adoration for Remy was adorable and seeing him fall in love was really perfect - even though he tried to keep his emotions in check because he didn't think Remy was initially looking for anything serious. Their relationship growth was natural and progressed in a beautiful way. When they kept talking to each other every night on the phone or FaceTime once Gray was traded to Colorado, I think that might have been my favorite. There was something tender there. I loved when they were in California together. It was so fun and perfect! Like most of these books, I like there was limited miscommunication or angst between the couple. Now for the non-main characters...Zolkov was amazing. Freaking adored him and his bromance with Gray! Loved his snark and sass. Just so good. My absolute favorite baby Carter Morgan III got to make his NHL debut and I couldn't even feel bad for poor Remy (though I am sad about Lawson). The epilogue was epic too. I loved seeing everyone together too, and Troy will always epitomize the best of "golden retriever energy" to me so what a wonderful group.

good series ok book

I really enjoyed this series and was excited for the last book. Although the book is good I feel like it kind of stumbled to the end. A lot of things were never said and I felt like there was all this momentum for a problem that was never solved properly.

love these boys!

I have loved both the Offsides and SCU Hockey series. I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this one, and it did not disappoint! Falling in love with Grayson and Remy was easy, and they might be my new favorites next to Corwin and Nigel. I cannot recommend this whole series enough. I love the queer NHL world that JJ Mulder has created here. Can this series just go on forever, please?

The Ending was abrupt

This was a decent book at the beginning. There are some time jumps that I was fine with once I realized, but the book seems to cut off abruptly then go to the epilogue. Definitely wasn’t my favorite, as it felt hurried and like there was a big piece missing. Otherwise, this was a good book!
