Description

Sonia Hartley is done running from her past. After a grueling transition from a failed music career to the high-stakes world of New York publishing, she is desperate for stability. Landing a role at the prestigious Hawthorne Publishing feels like her redemption, and she is determined to secure a permanent spot. But her professional focus is soon derailed by her enigmatic boss, the influential Cassandra Gallo. Cassandra is as calculating as she is captivating, and she has taken a peculiar interest in Sonia’s life—specifically, her compatibility with Cassandra’s wife. What begins as a series of professional prompts and introductions quickly evolves into a complex, provocative entanglement between three women. When Cassandra and her wife extend an unconventional, intimate invitation to Sonia, she finds herself standing at a crossroads. To accept is to lean into a burning desire she hadn’t dared to acknowledge, but it risks blurring the lines between her career ambitions and her personal identity. As the boundaries of their arrangement shift, Sonia must decide if this unexpected offer is the salvation she’s been searching for or a dangerous catalyst that could finally shatter the life she has worked so hard to rebuild.

this was too beautiful

The touching on real topics that can bring up issues is so important and the process of working through them. I’m glad the author had wrote time skips with Sonia acknowledging that she was a problem when she was in self-destructive mode. But also how she never belittled their feelings but of how she convinced herself not to. Sometimes too much self-awareness can be just as bad as a lack of. Cassandra is very outgoing but I also believe it’s because Elise was just as straight forward. I loved the subtle but core values of the BDSM aspect. Contract, consent, and after care. Every one is different but the weekly meeting was a great add in this book. I loved the pace of the book. Not super fast you can tell this has happened over the course of months towards a year (with time skips) I was glad I chose this as my first sapphic to read (novel wise)

Loved It

Poly romance novels that are fff are like unicorns, no pun intended. This book was deeply emotional, extremely hot, and very well written. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Absolutely sweet.

I don't think I read the whole synopsis. The cover was well chosen because the colours just drew me in. And the little details that reflect some of the moments from the book. Very thoughtful. Love is sweet. Love shared is probably sweeter. So Sonia, Elise, and Cassandra were well-written. How they fit in with each other was really good. I could easily understand Sonia's reservations because the already established love and commitment between Elise and Cassandra could definitely invoke jealousy. If you are open to polyamory love, this one is a good book to check out. I don't think this is a debut, but I think the author is young because of how well Sonia was written since she was the POV of the book. Though she did wonderfully with how both Elise and Cassandra handled and guided Sonia. I loved it.

Healthy Relationships

Really enjoyed reading this book and appreciated the healthy example of non-monogamy/poly that was represented. The book had themes related to openness, healing, vulnerability, learning to communicate, and evolving. It's not often that I actually finish the books I start, but this one was easy to read and left me with a sense of hope for my own relationship dynamics. Thanks for writing & publishing this work! I highly recommend.
