Description

Maya and Elena have spent a lifetime orbiting each other, their connection frayed by unspoken truths and the heavy weight of expectations. When a sudden shift in their circumstances forces them back into one another’s lives, the fragile balance they’ve maintained begins to dissolve. As they navigate the complexities of their shared history, they find themselves drawn to Sarah, a woman whose presence challenges everything they thought they knew about love and vulnerability. This is not just a story of attraction; it is a raw, deeply emotional exploration of what it means to heal. Through masterful time skips that bridge the gaps between their pasts and their evolving present, the narrative tackles the genuine, difficult issues that define real-world relationships. It is a rare, refreshing look at a polyamorous dynamic that feels both grounded and profoundly intimate. Each page pulses with an intensity that is as scorching as it is tender. If you are searching for a story that honors the messy, nonlinear process of finding oneself within another, this is the book that will stay with you long after the final chapter. It is a beautiful, necessary addition to contemporary romance that celebrates the courage it takes to love without limits.

this was too beautiful

The touching on real topics that can bring up issues is so important and the process of working through them. I’m glad the author had wrote time skips with Sonia acknowledging that she was a problem when she was in self-destructive mode. But also how she never belittled their feelings but of how she convinced herself not to. Sometimes too much self-awareness can be just as bad as a lack of. Cassandra is very outgoing but I also believe it’s because Elise was just as straight forward. I loved the subtle but core values of the BDSM aspect. Contract, consent, and after care. Every one is different but the weekly meeting was a great add in this book. I loved the pace of the book. Not super fast you can tell this has happened over the course of months towards a year (with time skips) I was glad I chose this as my first sapphic to read (novel wise)
