Excellent second installment in the Crow’s Coven series!

Delightful second installment in the Crow’s Coven series! What’s not to love here? Deryn and Paloma figuring out what they mean to each other—both present day and in the past. As per usual with a Milena McKay book this one has two layers: the story between the MCs and Paloma’s desire to win the mayoral race on Dragon’s and create a safe space for folks seeking refuge from physical and/or emotional abuse. This one is very spicy, very witty, and offers more clues about the ultimate baddie(s) threatening the Crowharts. Can be read as a standalone, but those who have already dived into the McKay universe will be rewarded with references to previous books. Not to be missed!!!

A story one sister knew well and for another, Deryn, had just begun.
