Description

Valarie Sundale’s life is a masterclass in professional exhaustion. Chained to her career and weary of her own monotony, she is finally pushed out of her comfort zone by her best friend, who insists on a night of no-strings-attached liberation. But what begins as a temporary escape from reality transforms into a chaotic nightmare when a mysterious, captivating escort winds up unconscious on Valarie's kitchen floor. When the woman, Addison Cooks, wakes up with a severe case of retrograde amnesia, the professional boundaries between client and service provider vanish instantly. With no identity and no clues to her history, Addison finds herself relying entirely on Valarie. What starts as a series of hesitant, guarded interactions soon evolves into a high-stakes scavenger hunt across the city as the pair attempts to piece together the fragments of Addison’s lost life. As they peel back the layers of a forgotten history, Valarie and Addison discover that the most important thing they are finding isn't a buried secret—it’s the undeniable pull of a future they never planned for. Packed with slow-burn tension and genuine emotional stakes, this steamy sapphic romance asks whether we are defined by where we come from or by the people who help us heal.

Ahhh

I really like the slow unwinding of the memories. The instant trust found in looking into someone's eyes and seeing safety. I adore Penny.

Great, but hear me out

I really loved this story. It was so fun and capturing to read. My issue is the ending part. I felt the last three chapters were so rushed there was no real sense of HEA. Of course it’s implied, but I could have gone for 2-3 more chapters of Valarie and Addison working through things and making future plans. 4 stars because I loved it. Minus one because I was left feeling underwhelmed at the end and the future these two might build

Unforgettable, pardon the pun

Hella roller-coaster ride in order to get to a beautiful HEA-like ending. Very interesting events along the way with, hopefully, a teaser of another book centering on the friend, Penny. Well written to the point where a continuation of this story would be appealing.
