Description

Penny has spent her life building walls to protect a past she can barely piece together. When she meets the one person who makes her feel seen, the guarded existence she carefully constructed begins to crumble. What starts as a simple friendship deepens into an intense, magnetic pull, forcing them both to navigate the delicate space between comfort and desire. Their connection is anchored by a rare, instant trust—the kind that turns a simple glance into a promise of safety. This story is a heartfelt exploration of vulnerability, where the slow, deliberate unwinding of forgotten memories leads to a profound sense of self-discovery. As they confront the challenges standing in their way, their relationship evolves into a passionate, erotic dance of healing and intimacy. It is a roller-coaster ride of emotional stakes, testing their resolve before they can finally claim the beautiful, hard-won future they deserve. If you crave a romance that balances intense physical chemistry with the tender, quiet moments of finding home in another person, this journey will stay with you long after the final page. Experience a story where the hardest part of letting go is finally trusting someone enough to hold on.

Ahhh

I really like the slow unwinding of the memories. The instant trust found in looking into someone's eyes and seeing safety. I adore Penny.

Great, but hear me out

I really loved this story. It was so fun and capturing to read. My issue is the ending part. I felt the last three chapters were so rushed there was no real sense of HEA. Of course it’s implied, but I could have gone for 2-3 more chapters of Valarie and Addison working through things and making future plans. 4 stars because I loved it. Minus one because I was left feeling underwhelmed at the end and the future these two might build

Unforgettable, pardon the pun

Hella roller-coaster ride in order to get to a beautiful HEA-like ending. Very interesting events along the way with, hopefully, a teaser of another book centering on the friend, Penny. Well written to the point where a continuation of this story would be appealing.
