Such a good and sexy read
love Jordan and Sky? Jordan is fierce and sweet at the same time. For a vampire, she still has a lot of humanity left inside her. Sky surprised me most of all. She loved hard and had a lot of courage for a human finding out that there are scary things that truly go bump in the night. I was surprised that these are day walking vampires.
I enjoyed watching them grow as fated mates and friends. It was believable. I enjoyed the twins and even more Hunter and Max were just hilarious. I had a wild ride as Sky and Jordan come close to death so many times. Wild rides.
I loved the writing style of the author. It held my attention and I was totally invested with these two having there HEA!
I found this story entertaining, humorous, and exciting to read. I liked the two main characters, Jordan (new vampire queen of her coven) and Sky (Jordan's mate) as well as the other characters. I liked the humor some scenes had which usually involved Jordan's twin nieces, Hazel and Hilda or Jordan's coworkers, Max and Hunter, while the seriousness of Jordan trying to hold onto her power and keeping Sky in the dark of her being her mate until Sky reveals her feelings toward Jordan. It was also exciting to read about who the twins mother was and who killed Jordan's brother Alberich the King. I really enjoyed reading how everything turned out at the end. I truly recommend this book to everyone that loves a good romance between a human and a vampire.
Story was rushed. In being so, a lot of silly things occurred out of what felt like thin air.
Suddenly Sky had talents. As a human she magically could hold toe to toe against a vampire that was supposed to be so damn strong. Meaningful relationships were skipped like development of friendship with Ursula. And so much more was just silly.
I usually read a good book in a day, this one took me so long that I started skipping just to atleast get a conclusion.
Other than that it did make me laugh on several occasions. The story was pretty decent if you simply summarized the beginning, plot, conflict, solution, ending.
Not a smutty book either. It uses relaxed words like "sex" to describe genitals paying no attention to the details of sad genitals. Basically PG 13 written intimacy.

Love a Great Romance? This is it!
I haven't read many vampire stories but wow, I'm glad I read this one! It's a great romance, a titillating mystery, and filled with awesome other worldly creatures....good and evil. It's a battle won by good and love.
