wonderful storytelling....
but i have a really hard time reading books with poor proofreading. it pulls me out of a story when i have to
re-read sentences or figure out what word the author meant to use.
that said, the author has created a world i enjoy reading about.

She's done it again- Gianni Holmes made me laugh, sizzle & bawl. I'm not a high fan of MC or polyamorous storylines (not because I'm a prude but because they can be pretty superficial or stereotypical) but this surpasses the tropes!
If you read the the first two books in the series (the first is a novella focusing on Booker & Zak, 2nd full length novel on Grimm & Jamie) then this continues the complicated push and pull between Zak, the Reaper's funny man & best shooter, and the scowling enforcer, Booker to its breaking point. [NOTE: the author does an amazing job with the characters backstory and development so you lose Nothing if you haven't read the first 2 books.] The reintroduction of Fable, the hostage in Book 2, blows up the Reaper's roles and understanding about who they are as a family and club. The Reaper's have always been a family- a brotherhood of loyalty and honor; but what happens when you have to decide between the family you've chosen and the men your heart can no longer deny? It is a rich and well-developed story that makes it impossible to hate anyone even if you wish you could.
This threesome is like nothing you've ever seen; and not just because their scenes are scorching hot and deliciously dirty. They will steal, crack and heal your heart while revving your motor into overdrive.
I'm definitely riding with the Reaper's series to the end (may it be a looong one).

I love them so much, I just love the plot and how they everything came together. I just wished we would’ve figured out who did that to Zak cause I wanted to come through the book and get them too! Love them though!
Wish it had ended differently…
I enjoyed the first book in the series. I felt this one had promise, but the ending ruined it for me. I will not be continuing with the series. The author wasn’t true to the characters (or one of the characters wasn’t worth it from the start.)
Spoilers…
I can’t imagine continuing to fight for people who disfigured and nearly killed the person I loved. At the very least, I’d leave them all behind, and for all the talk of loyalty, I would have expected Booker’s character to choose Zak over a bunch of a-holes . The ending was unrealistic at best, and kinda gross at worst. Someone nearly kills the person I love, they’d never be someone I could fight for again. Since Zak refused to give the names of the bikers who hurt him, I don’t know how Booker could ever continue as a member of the club never knowing who hurt his man and who didn’t. Clearly the author was trying to keep Booker in the stories to follow, but without punishing those who hurt Zak, it did a big disservice to Booker’s character. Either you conclude that Booker doesn’t love Zak like he claims or he’s a piece of **** for ignoring that his partner was nearly killed and permanently maimed. Either way, really awful ending that has put me off of the rest of the series. I won’t be reading about Cass and Mort, or any of the rest. I was looking forward to them, but I’m not willing to waste my time on another potential bad ending.
