This was a freakin masterpiece. The first chapter is a massive shock and then the surprises just get more shocking from there. I loved Evan and the way he settled into his new life and role. Gregory was also amazing once he realized how much of a mistake he’d been making and turned his behavior around. His struggle with his legacy was really moving and the way he came to grips with everything was really powerful. There’s some really amazing twists in this and the side characters are just as interesting as the MCs. The spice was super hot and the relationship between Evan and Gregory was really beautiful. The ending?! So excited for book two!
Reincarnated into another world
I loved reading about this new world Evan reincarnated into. I liked how Evan found a home where he belongs. And doesn’t have to rely on himself anymore. Also, I like the fact that he respected Evan, the original owners body’s wishes and helped him find the piece that he needed. Then there’s Gregory. He’s so misunderstood. I like how he was able to be his true self with Evan. And that he’s also learning to accept help. Also, the chemistry is off the chart with these two. They are faded mates with a strong bond. Also, like how Evan is so accepting of this change. With being a strong Omega. Then Gregory may be the unholy alpha, but he proved to everyone that they were all wrong. And that he can be something more than what the emperor made him. For them being together I love the fact that they sense mark each other a lot. Also, they are so possessive of each other. Then the village itself has so many amazing people. That will stand with these two and believe there power. The ending made me so excited for what’s to come in the series. I cannot wait to read the second book.
I absolutely loved this book! It was so easy to read as a romantasy! The world building was easy to catch on to, and the magic was so much fun. Don’t even get me started on the characters. Gregory is definitely my favorite 😍 I know I’m supposed to see the red flags but I’m blind to his 🤭 he’s just too hot and Evan my sweet Evan, he’s so strong after everything he’s been through. I absolutely adore these 2 together and I can’t wait for the next book!
Y’all this book is definitely one of the best omegaverse books I have ever read. OV is one of my absolute favorite tropes, tie in fantasy and omg what a story! Gregory and Evan are just absolute perfection. Gregory is a grumpy alpha who would do absolutely anything for Evan. Evan is a brutal CEO from “our world” who wakes up as an omega in anther world. We get hurt/comfort, fated mates, touch him and 💀, mpreg, and so many other amazing tropes! I am never going to stop thinking about these two. Isabelle is an auto buy author for me now.

Thank you to Isabelle Montague and Twisted Chaos for selecting me as an ARC reviewer.
I had high expectations of this book and did not disappoint! This book reminded me of For Us, the Living: A Comedy of Customs by Robert Heinlein. Am I comparing a 1939 book to an omegaverse romance story? Yes, yes I am. I really loved the concept of the soul-swapping of the Evans, and that the new Evan was from “our” timeline. This book really hooked me from page one, it was engaging, entertaining, hopeful, and sometimes frustrating in the best way possible. This book really shows second chances, found family, and fighting for what you love. Ugh, my poor heart!
Evan was a successful businessman, but a very broken and lonely one, and after being yoinked to the new world, he gets an opportunity to live again. I loved how his natural softness and his learned hardheadedness helped him navigate both a very challenging mate and an unknown world. The lessons from Anita, his foster guardian, and the memories of his mother as a soft entity really reflect who he could have been if he didn't go down the path of cut-throat business, and he lets it show once he’s in the new world. I do have to suspend my disbelief on how quickly he was ok with being in a body that worked very differently, and I wish the book explored more of him learning about what it means to be an omega. My dude, you have a womb now, are you not even curious!? Now, my dear Gregory, you are worthy of…
