WHAT A BOOK! first and foremost, i just have to say how represented i felt as a bisexual reading this book. it is so often that bi characters are often over sexualized or misunderstood, played off as unicorns or just there for a good time but this story really touches on how bisexuals are real people who can be adventurous, sexual people who also love hard. just because people like myself and the main character Atticus like both men and women doesn’t mean we love any less, if anything this book shows how we love whole heartedly, to the point of near obsession. I loved Atticus, my best friend pointing out that he is just me as a boy, same character, different font. In truth, his character touches on so many of the insecurities I felt when i fell for my husband, who is quiet, shy, and has a very difficult time articulating his emotions, similar to the main character Kai in the book. ( i cried so many times reading this story even though it is a very happy loving book because i saw so much of my own love story and trials in it ) Katie, the author, truly has a talent on capturing love, loss of love and growth as a person and as a pair on the page.
