it’s been a little while…

Since I’ve read a 5 star book. And this one took me by surprise. I was intrigued from the very introduction to Nyx and her first move to the club. And when Ax appeared, I wasn’t able to look away. Nyx had a wonderful blending of intelligence, kindness, sexiness, and steel. And Ax was enamored from first look. Their lives were forever entwined whether they were looking for that or not. Some of my best times were spent watching Nyx and Ax navigate the first wedding. These two were like heat missiles patrolling around one another. It didn’t matter where they were they somehow seem to be attracted to the same spaces and places. I laughed so much as we watched the fully composed and put together Ax unravel. No matter what you thought of Ax, her heart was big. But after what happened to someone she loved dearly, she closed that heart and soul of hers for two decades. A true mafia ice queen. And then comes Nyx to break through the ice. I will always root for these two. They both deserve happiness and they both deserve each other. Some people are just carved from the same cloth. And the way this author tells their story is quite crafty. It keeps you pulled in. There is love, murder, betrayal, hot sex, passion, guilt, revenge, corruption, and everything else under the sun.

Intense sapphic romance with a hint of danger.

Don’t Stop Me is a wild, fast-paced read that kept me hooked from start to finish. If you love your romance a little dark with a side of chaos and a lot of spice, this one’s definitely worth picking up! You’ll also have a newfound love for the term “Yes daddy”.

"Your mom does it better"

A sapphic series we all needed! I loved this story..it was lots of drama and steamy times. Right out the gate, you get a pleasure dom scene set in an all female bdsm club and it just hooks you immediately. It’s described as a dark romance but I wouldn’t consider it dark. It involves organized crime, so obviously with that comes more action, secrets, and drama..but nothing overly triggering IMO. The only reason I’m knocking off a star is because the ending wrapped up a little too easily for my liking..a bit rushed. I wanted some more groveling and I wanted Ax to tell her son to kick rocks! He was trash! I don’t care how much he apologizes, I freakin hated him! Solid start to a series I’ll definitely read more from! If you’re wanting a hot sapphic romance with a pleasure dom and a bratty sub dynamic..this is definitely the one for you!

writing gaps?

I struggle with this review and rating on one hand the spice was written very well and a lot of minor scenes were also cute. But scenes that played to the plot were in ways confusing and left a lot to the imagination. Over all it is a good book but it felt lacking in some areas and as if some were overlooked. Tropes: Underworld??? Sapphic Kink Age gap Daddy Ex-bf’s parent

Wade into the darkness and have you some fun

Well, you best establish your safe word prior to swandiving into this lovely lil work of fiction. The BDSM takes you to the dungeon and back, and what a ride it is. The plot twist was predictable, but that left me enjoying the leading ladies dynamics all the more. One MC is cold and brutal with blood on her hands and embers burning in her eyes. The other MC is that surge of oxygen that ignites those embers to a blazing 5-alarm, mass casualty act of nature and it is thrilling to read. Definitely onto the next book! This Sloan girl has her own heat, and I bet she's packing!
