Description

Dante’s life as an aspiring ballet dancer evaporated the moment he watched his father die. Transformed by grief and sharpened by vengeance, he has dedicated his existence to hunting down the men responsible for his shattered world. He is a lone wolf, lethal and focused, and he certainly doesn’t need interference from a high-powered mercenary interfering with his mission—especially not one as infuriatingly cocky as Rev, the silver-haired COO of Sinro Enterprises. Rev has seen it all, and he recognizes a kindred spirit in the prickly, butterfly-knife-wielding dancer. While Dante tries to play the hardened killer, Rev sees the raw, hidden vulnerability beneath the vengeance. But Rev isn't just watching from the sidelines; he’s decided that Dante belongs to him, whether the younger man likes it or not. As Dante strikes out at his enemies, Rev acts as his lethal shadow, systematically dismantling anyone who crosses their path. In this high-stakes dance of blood and desire, the line between protector and predator blurs. Dante may try to keep his heart under lock and key, but when you are being hunted by a man who refuses to take no for an answer, surrender might be the only way to survive.

Rev and Dante!

Rev and Dante. Let’s talk about how much I ate this book up. I didn’t know I was someone who loved when one of the MCs is just being an angry kitten and the other MC just eats it up. Like come at me baby and give me all you’ve got. Poor baby Dante. He’s had it rough. He’s lived a life of losing people he loves and he just doesn’t trust anyone anymore. Now he’s out for blood and of course crosses paths with Rev. We met Rev previously and he’s such a spitfire. He’s very take no shhh and here for a good time. I knew I wanted him to be happy and he needed someone who pushes him. He would burn the world down for Dante and it’s perfect. I love a book that really brings me into the world. One where I’m ready for the next book because it’s been hinted at with all the side characters. Who could be next? I’m not sure but I will be sticking along for the ride.

DNF

Love the series and author. I hated Dante. Loved Rev and the supporting cast. I know Dante has been through a lot and I typically enjoy a brat. However he was so annoying and unbelievable. He can’t defend himself but continues to do things like making noise during the situation with his dad, being a part of the investigation and pulling the gun during the fight even though he hated guns etc. I just wanted for him to have gone through so much show some actual growth and not be such a nuisance who also has the audacity to feel sorry for himself. He just was very very immature and not on any way endearing to me.
