This book is bloody sexy and brilliant I'm not sure if this was the Authors first time writing about to male/male love interest but the author really pulled it off. Roman Nakitian has been raised by his father Pavel Pakhan of the Russian Bratva to be cruel,hard,un-emotianal a killer with no heart and above all things a man but what his father thinks a man is and what his son is truly complete opposites Pavel is a homophobic piece of slime who has unknowingly crushed his son's spirit and made him into and angry man with substance abuse issues made him feel that if he doesn't want a women then his less and Roman has tried he's even supposed to marry a bratva bride it's all arranged till Val Bankcroft pushes all his buttons and his ideas out the widow with one very hot encounter when Romen is somewhere he shouldn't be the Obsidian Syndicate Vaughn Bankcrofts domain he's the Marques and Vals brother but Roman isn't gay or so he keeps telling himself and everyone else. Val is a charmer he jokes allot plays allot he's comfortable in his sexuality and 8s in the ballet with Roman's sister but his no panzy he grew up tuff in foster care he can put even Roman in his place he's dominate and soft and the way he goes at Roman the not so straight Russian heir is brilliant he breaks down all his walls and calls him his wreckage. I wasn't sure I was going to read this story let alone buy it but I did on both and I enjoyed it.Val 's story really got to me,he had a hard life made harder because he had to to fight extra hard for everything and I understood why his brother left him behind when they were boys,it may of made him stronger but it also save his life.Roman was another matter,he was really fighting his demons,he was a alcoholic and he wasn't sure about the feelings he was having and he was very confused. He met Val at the right time and with him he was able to come to turns on how he was feeling and overcome the bottle too.It also help that he had a good support system with his friends and Val's brother too and his father's number two person Stepn.But his father was another case and I suggest that you read this story with your eyes open and your heart beating because this was very good!

i’m going to be thinking about this one for a LONG time. this book follows roman nikitin and val bancroft and their struggles of trying to be together when not only outside forces were affecting them, but also roman. roman, the son of the mafia leader, was closeted and swore to himself that he was straight and that he liked woman but all it took was val bulldozing in into his life that had roman questioning EVERYTHING about himself. val, who is openly bisexual, worked so hard (no pun intended 😉) with roman for him to see that it’s okay to be who you are regardless of what others think. val fought not only his own demons, but helped roman fight his- including his alcohol addiction. val was absolutely EVERYTHING roman didn’t know he need and fought FOR roman when roman fought against not only val, but himself, and his sexuality. however, when roman fell for val this man fell HARD. he loved val and he fought for him in ways he would have never imagine he’d need to. these two were each other worlds, and while they had SO many circumstances stacked against them they held each other up & fell into a love that only grows stronger. like i said, i’m going to think about this book for a long time. roman and val took such a large piece of my heart with them and i don’t think i could have loved this book more.

To say I loved this book is a complete UNDERSTATEMENT!!!! Jagger has outdone himself with this one!!!! Roman and Val… OMG!!!! These two are EXPLOSIVE!!! I felt all the freaking feels while reading this!!! My heart is still racing from all they went through!! It is a heartbreakingly beautiful story that deals with real life struggles!! Roman oh my heart😭💔 it broke so many times for him! His struggle to figure out who he is and deal with addiction was gut wrenching at times! It made me want to just hug him! Jagger really showed how destructive self loathing can be and how it can effect not only yourself but others. Val, I have loved him since we first met him and I’m so freaking happy he got his HEA!!! It wasn’t without struggles though and my heart hurt for him is well. The chemistry between them is so intense that it makes the smexy times even more DELICIOUS & HOT AF🥵🥵🥵🥵 Seriously these were some of the hottest smexy scenes 🔥🔥🔥 The drama and twists had me on the edge of my seat with my heart racing!!!! Each book in this world just keeps getting better and better!!! I am completely OBSESSED with all of them!!! I can’t freaking WAIT for the next book already!!! Highly highly recommend this wonderful book!!!

soooo good… is this a petty three stars.. most definitely this book gave me all the feels but mostly pissed me off but in a good way however that ending has made me want to throw my phone across the room and scream
