so cute!

Ok so I had started Asa’s book and got to the scene with Dimitri and Arlo and was like HOLD UP and had to stop to read this. So glad I did. It’s going to put some things in context. Dimitri is amazing. I truly love his personality and the plans he had for getting them alibis for what Arlo did. And seeing all of the Mulvaneys out to see Dimitri… that was just hysterical. Great book! Definitely a must read BEFORE Ada’s book. And now I can go back to that one!

Another hit!

I hardly know how to write about this book. Like all the others it is incredible, good, great, exciting, and endearing. I'm so glad the Mulvaney family was looped into the story. I have purchased every one of the books in this series, including the soon-to-be released book number 7. I understand that it will be the final book in the series. I'm hoping not.

The perfect transition from book three to four. Love Dimitri and Arlo!

3rd person/dual pov Spice: 3.5/5 Well, this couple was adorable! Dimitri and Arlo are just precious. I love how even as a kid Dimitri was drawn to Arlo and was set on protecting him. After so many years apart his feelings never swayed for him he just understood them better now that he was older. As for Arlo, my heart broke over what happened to him, both with his parents and past partners. He feels so unworthy of love and being cherished that he has a hard time accepting that Dimitri wants him just because he's Arlo. I do love that when it came time to step up to tuck and run Arlo fought for Dimitri in more ways than one. No matter how nervous or uncomfortable he was he saw it through and was just as determined to keep Dimitri safe. The spice was good considering this was a novella and most of the story was focused on their relationship and the plot playing out. It's exactly as it should be. If the spice had been ramped up more I think it would have ruined things, to be honest. And considering how this one ended I am pretty sure things needed to focus on the storyline in order to get where the ending did so that it could transition you into book 4. It feels like an extended prologue and an introduction to some new side characters moving forward. Now I'm even more excited to start the next one and find out what this ending was all about.
