Description

The stakes have never been higher for the women ruling the criminal underworld in this pulse-pounding conclusion to the duology. After the explosive developments of the first installment, our protagonists find themselves deeper than ever in a cutthroat game of loyalty, betrayal, and raw, unfiltered passion. As they navigate a landscape where power is bought with blood and secrets are the only currency that matters, they must decide if their connection is a liability or their greatest weapon. This isn’t just a story about organized crime; it is an intense character study of two women fighting to remain standing in a world designed to break them. The narrative crackles with electricity, balancing gut-wrenching emotional arcs against high-octane sequences of combat and tactical maneuvering. Every interaction carries the weight of a looming threat, ensuring the suspense holds firm until the very last page. Fans of complex sapphic romances will be drawn into the irresistible magnetic pull between the leads—a relationship forged in the fire of danger and tempered by unwavering devotion. So Freaking Good!

Awesome, intense, wildy entertaining mafia romance! I loved part1 and it didn't think part2 would be as good. Part2 exceeded my expectations. I couldn't put it down. The main fight scene was so incredible that i literally felt i was in it. The best author of sapphic mafia books!

In my mafia era

I have officially entered my Black Hole Era—and there is no coming back. Since diving into Persephone Black’s Sapphic Mafia Universe, I’ve been in a state of absolute blissful captivity. These duets—The Underworld Duet, Bianchi Family Duet, Ruby Realm Duet, and Red Rivals Duet—are the kind of dark, deliciously intense, emotionally layered romances that refuse to let go until you’ve consumed every last word. And then? You hit replay. Each story feels like its own world, richly built with high-stakes tension, devastatingly compelling characters, and a level of sapphic yearning that delivers—hard. Black doesn’t just write mafia romance—she elevates it. There’s blood, betrayal, forced proximity, forbidden love, vengeance, and ICE QUEENS who will freeze your heart before slowly, achingly melting into puddles of longing and love. I mean, YES please. From the ruthless mercenary who kidnaps a bride on her wedding day, to a street-racing Irish mob daughter begrudgingly falling for her billionaire enemy, to an undercover fed losing herself in the velvet-laced world of a ladies-only mafia nightclub, to two deadly rivals whose passion burns hotter than the bullets flying around them—every duet is an experience. And let’s talk about the audiobook narrators, because they are next-level phenomenal. Paige Reisenfeld, Aleksi Graves, Avery Reid, Quinn Riley, Megan Wicks, and Allie Shae—these voices are the characters. They don’t just read the story; they breathe it. It’s sultry,…

Wow. Very exciting story.

There so much drama and action in this story that it kept me wondering what would happen next. It started after Aurora was kidnapped by Hadria's father, and a few days later Aurora escaped and returned to Hadria. Also the mystery of who was murdering Hadria's men. Then some of the Hardia's lieutenants and soldiers turned against her while helping Nero invade Elysium with an explosion at the gates. In the end Hadria and a small group survived the enemies. I really liked the ending of rebuilding Elysium and Hadria proposing to Aurora as well who was murdering Hadria's men was still mystery. I was a disappointed that there was no specific detail of the characters height, tall, petite and a head taller do not help. Also it would be nice to know Hadria's exact age but from the descriptions given I would say she is in her early thirties. Though my opinions did not change the number of stars given because this was the most exciting and entertaining read. I can't wait to read the next book. I truly recommend this book to everyone that loves a good age gap romance.

Great writing honestly. One thing about this author, she can write some sex scenes. Aurora is infuriating as hell, i was cussing so hard but i have recovered. Definitely love that there is so much story and when the smut came it was detailed to satisfy before continuing onto the plot. Now to see what happens with my girl Lyssa...
