Description

After a gut-wrenching breakup, book editor Cathy Street decides the only way to heal is total isolation. She retreats to a secluded North Carolina cabin, armed with a strict "no drama" policy and a vow to steer clear of romantic complications. But her quiet escape goes up in flames the moment she encounters her neighbor, Liza Morrison. Liza is a whirlwind of fame and glitter, best known as a soap opera superstar, but she’s currently running from the suffocating pressures of Hollywood. Beneath the actress's glamorous exterior is a woman drowning in existential crisis and bad management. As a historic blizzard traps the two women in their snowy sanctuary, the walls Cathy built begin to crumble. Between a mischievous, boundary-crossing cat and the electric tension of forced proximity, their mutual avoidance quickly turns into a passionate, undeniable spark. The peace is shattered when an impulsive, private moment catches the internet's eye, dragging their quiet mountain refuge into the harsh light of the tabloids. As the world closes in, Cathy and Liza must confront the reality of their connection. Is a whirlwind romance worth the chaos of the spotlight, or can they find a way to be seen while protecting their hearts?

Being afraid

Great read. I was hooked after the first chapter. Thank you for your books. It was entertaining, funny, bright and surprising. We are all afraid of something. But if we put it out front of us instead of hiding we can overcome our fears. Lovely.

A Classic Romcom

Cabin Fever had me laughing out loud at several points. The swoon-worthy love confession was something straight out of a Hallmark movie and I enjoyed the growing tension and chemistry along the way. Despite the short timeline, it didn't feel rushed. This is a great afternoon read, and the spice was just right.

hilarious and lovable characters

So many laugh out loud moments that there was one point my wife had to come and check on me about what was so damn funny. From the cat ,to Gladys, to the two main characters, this was just a book with so many happy feels. In this day and age that means a lot.

A great snowed in lesbian love story

This was a cute little book about two single lesbians getting away from it all around the same time in cabins that are next to each other. The cat was a funny and interesting throw in up to a point but when you are so attracted to each other and kissing up and storm and a cat stops you from moving to the next step... it's time to put the cat in another room. I love the ending and how Cathy and Liza worked everything out the way it was meant to be.
