Description

When high-powered architect Elena books a secluded mountain getaway, she expects nothing but silence, solitude, and an escape from her chaotic city life. She certainly does not expect her neighbor to be a free-spirited woman with a penchant for loud music, questionable gardening, and a very intrusive cat. What begins as a series of petty territorial disputes between two single women quickly spirals into a hilarious, high-stakes collision of personalities. Set against the cozy backdrop of neighboring cabins, this story is a heartfelt exploration of second chances and the unexpected ways love finds us when we are least prepared. Between the meddling antics of local legend Gladys and the constant companionship of a mischievous feline, the icy distance between these two strangers begins to thaw into something much warmer. You will find yourself laughing out loud at their witty banter and blushing at the electric tension that simmers between them as they realize their forced proximity might be exactly what they both needed. Perfect for fans of slow-burn romance and sharp, spirited comedy, this book is a bright, surprising, and deeply romantic journey. It is a celebration of finding home in someone else, proving that sometimes being stuck is the best way to get moving again.

Being afraid

Great read. I was hooked after the first chapter. Thank you for your books. It was entertaining, funny, bright and surprising. We are all afraid of something. But if we put it out front of us instead of hiding we can overcome our fears. Lovely.

A Classic Romcom

Cabin Fever had me laughing out loud at several points. The swoon-worthy love confession was something straight out of a Hallmark movie and I enjoyed the growing tension and chemistry along the way. Despite the short timeline, it didn't feel rushed. This is a great afternoon read, and the spice was just right.

hilarious and lovable characters

So many laugh out loud moments that there was one point my wife had to come and check on me about what was so damn funny. From the cat ,to Gladys, to the two main characters, this was just a book with so many happy feels. In this day and age that means a lot.

A great snowed in lesbian love story

This was a cute little book about two single lesbians getting away from it all around the same time in cabins that are next to each other. The cat was a funny and interesting throw in up to a point but when you are so attracted to each other and kissing up and storm and a cat stops you from moving to the next step... it's time to put the cat in another room. I love the ending and how Cathy and Liza worked everything out the way it was meant to be.
