Description

Dr. Lisa Mills has meticulously crafted her life around precision, prestige, and iron-clad professional boundaries. As a powerhouse orthopedic surgeon, she is poised to secure her legacy with a revolutionary clinical trial. That is, until her path collides with Olivia Jenkins, a brash, rebellious resident whose disregard for the status quo threatens to derail everything Lisa has spent decades perfecting. Forced into an unwanted partnership by hospital administration, the two women ignite in a clash of conflicting temperaments and medical philosophies. Yet, in the high-stakes, pressure-cooker environment of the trauma ward, their enmity begins to thaw. Lisa discovers that Olivia’s defiance is fueled by genuine compassion, while Olivia finds that Lisa’s cold, demanding exterior shelters a deeply wounded heart and an unwavering commitment to her patients. As their professional friction smolders into a forbidden, electric pull, the risks mount. Lisa must battle the ghosts of a devastating past, while Olivia struggles against the heavy expectations of a conservative family. In a world where every move is scrutinized and shadows are scarce, these two women must determine if the promise of a life together is worth dismantling the very protocols that once kept them safe.

Excellent read!

This caught my attention from the first line. It continued to keep me enthralled to the end. The dynamics of two strong people carried out through the data analysis and outcomes. This is an awesome read and can't wait to see what else you've written. Keep up the excellent work.

Interesting read.

Lisa and Olivia made a sweet couple, and the story kept my interest. The steamy scenes were well written and the characters were well developed. I thought the author’s first book was better, but this was still a good read. I will be looking for more of her work.
