Description

Dust, adrenaline, and unspoken desires collide in the third installment of the Sagebrush Cowboys series. Life on the circuit has always been about riding for eight seconds and keeping your guard up, but for the rugged men of the rodeo, the most dangerous bulls aren't the ones in the chutes—they’re the ones living in their own hearts. As the pressure of the championship season mounts, two riders find their professional rivalry shifting into something far more volatile. They have spent years trading sharp jabs and cold stares, but when a late-night mishap forces them into close quarters, the walls they’ve built begin to buckle. What starts as a clash of egos quickly descends into a simmering, undeniable tension that burns hotter than the high desert sun. Blood and Bravado is a high-stakes romance that balances the grit of a cowboy’s life with the raw, beating heart of an unexpected love story. Amidst the roar of the crowd and the isolation of the open range, these two men must decide if they are brave enough to risk their reputations—and their peace of mind—for a shot at a future that neither of them expected, but both are terrified to lose.

Spicy cowboys under the sun and stars

Ya can’t help but feel the heat between these Texas boys. Despite wrestling with their pasts and their feelings, their attractions are obvious. Interesting note about the author’s style: we read the story in the characters’s voices. Including less than perfect grammar, repeated phrases, and sometimes blunt feelings. Once we understand that, we get drawn into the story even more. And then you can really feel the heat. Even out under the stars 🌟

Loved it, but...

I loved the story. It was a little predictable and cute. BUT, I was really disturbed by all the typos, missed words, etc. Like Colet! Really? Get a proofreader. Don't mess up a good story by being sloppy.

Riveting!

Love cowboys! Had one of my own a lifetime ago. He stayed in New Zealand when I had to return to the states. This book is well written with virtually no "slogging" spots. Just another great point that honest communication is so very important.
