Description

The stakes have never been higher for the members of Beta Team. What began as a routine protection detail has spiraled into a lethal game of survival, forcing them to confront shadows from their past and forge alliances with the very people they once considered their greatest threats. As the line between savior and survivor blurs, the team realizes that their strongest bonds are the only weapons left in their arsenal. In this heart-pounding conclusion to the Saviors duet, the mission is no longer just about protecting others—it is about ensuring their own existence. If they fail to navigate the treacherous shifting loyalties of Forest Grove, the team risks vanishing entirely, leaving nothing behind but echoes of who they used to be. This pulse-pounding installment delivers an intense exploration of loyalty and desire within the Forest Grove universe. Featuring a complex why-choose romance where heartstrings are pulled in multiple directions at once, the narrative embraces the heat of polyamorous connections and fluid intimacy. Whether you are a long-time fan of the Abbs Valley spin-offs or diving into these stories for the first time, prepare for a high-stakes finale where love is the ultimate act of defiance.

Amazing Finish!!

I had the honor of getting an ARC copy of Beta Team part 2!! Thank you Ames and the ARC team for letting me get my hands on this book early! SPOILERS AHEAD! What I loved 💕 I loved how connected all the characters were emotionally. I love in books when they can read each other and know when someone might need just a bit more support. I love the cross overs between all of the other groups and that alone makes me want to reread everyone’s stories. I enjoyed how we got to see more of Kane and his group with Kira. I laughed out loud when Kane showed up and figured out what his baby sister was up to 🙂‍↕️ Tyler and his tiny hands was also a standout moment! What I struggled with 🤔 I did a reread of part one a week before I got the ARC and I could kind of guess where the story was going. I feel like even in part one there was a connection missing between Kira and some of the guys. I really felt this is part two when Tivon was introduced. He just felt a bit rushed for me, or like in part one we didn’t get as much lead up for it to make sense. I tend to not enjoy safe houses for some reason. I’ve experienced this with other books outside of Ames. It’s weird but I get bored faster when they are at a safe house for an entire book. I understand the concept of the characters going there for protection but there is something that I feel is missing 🥴 I think with every author there are books that you love with everything in you and then there are some that you just love but is…

Still in love

In still in love with these characters!! I am glad that their story was finished. I ate it up and felt like I wasn’t ready for the story to be finished!! I LOVED the introduction of the new character. They fit in perfectly with the Beta team. I loved seeing old characters on the pages as well. I know this one came with challenges, but it was SO worth the wait!!

It was good. Just wanted more!

First, I love this author! Abbs Valley was my intro into RH as I've been reading primarily MM for over a year. However, something kept pulling me into reading the first book. Once I started I couldn't stop and read/listened to all published books except Beta Team Part 1 because of the cliffhanger. Luckily I didn't have to wait as long as most for part 2 so I was super excited when she posted that it was coming! On release day I started part one and finished part 2 at the end of the weekend. But...I was a little disappointed. All previous books were amazing and I've reread from the beginning at least 3 times because I just couldn't let go! When I got to part 2 of Beta Team it just seemed rushed? Or unfinished? It felt like there was more to be said/written but she just didn't have the energy or will to do it. A lot more could have been explored like the relationship between Tivon and Ari, Kira and Keon, Gavin and Jason, Jason and Keon. It felt like you started to see something but never fully bloomed. Especially when Keon, Kira, and Jason were off together we didn't get to "see" what happened there. Then we have the issue with the dad. Some parts didn't seem believable. While others were "don't feel like putting anymore detail into this, let's end it here and move on". I just wanted more. Maybe I'm greedy. I just don't have the pull like I had for the others to go back and reread it. Just didn't feel like this book lived up to the hype or expectation as the previous books.…
