Description

Greer Galloway leads a life of carefully curated perfection, orbiting the highest echelons of American power as the wife of the President. But behind the closed doors of the White House, the facade of a fairytale marriage hides a far more complex reality. Her life is irrevocably upended when she finds herself caught in a magnetic, devastating tug-of-war between two men who command the world stage: her husband, the ambitious President Ash Cavendish, and his enigmatic, intense best friend and right-hand man, Embry Moore. As lines blur between duty and desire, Greer is pulled into a passionate, heart-wrenching tangle of loyalties. This is no simple romance; it is an epic, high-stakes exploration of what it means to belong to someone—or to be shared by two. Set against the backdrop of modern political ambition, the narrative delves into the suffocating weight of expectation and the raw, dangerous freedom found in forbidden connections. With prose that is as lush as it is scorching, American Queen masterfully balances poignant emotional vulnerability with a tension that threatens to consume everyone involved. Step into this modern Camelot, where the crown comes at a heavy cost and the throne is built on secrets, longing, and unforgettable desire.

"Round and around and around and around we go" - Rhianna ,"Stay"

"All along it was a fever A cold sweat hot-headed believer I threw my hands in the air, said, "Show me something" He said, "If you dare, come a little closer" Round and around and around and around we go Oh now, tell me now, tell me now, tell me now you know Not really sure how to feel about it Something in the way you move Makes me feel like I can't live without you It takes me all the way I want you to stay" - Rhianna, "Stay" This...this level of intellectual eroticism woven with legend, thorough, yet still leaving mystery, character development and surprises in the unfolding and ever-expansive plot leaves the reader aching, breathless even without anchor for a time after the experience. It is almost as disassociative an experience as Greer, the "American Queen" experiences with her Dominant lover, Ash. "American Queen" is the beginning of a highly imaginative saga with a jaw dropping love story of a threesome... an incredibly beautiful and complicated "menage a trois" at the center. This is Greer's story. This "little princess" is political royalty, groomed by her Grandfather who was a former Vice-President of the United States. He takes her under his wing after she is left an orphan. She is an ethereal beauty with spun white-gold hair and delicate features. She has been trained from a young child to have a insouciant air as she secretly watches and listens for careless words and slips of political masks at important social gatherings. Dutifully reporting back…

4.5 Hotter-Than-Hot Stars!!

"This was supposed to be my fairy tale, with me as the princess and Ash as the prince, but there’s a third person here, a person we both want and who wants both of us." OMG I floved this book!! Can't wait to read 'American Prince. ' Those were my very first thoughts after finishing this book. It was sitting on my Kindle for a long time and I'll admit I kept looking at it, thinking, "What is this? Queen? Another royalty book? What?" BUT once I started I couldn't stop! Ash, Embry and Greer's story is sizzling, stormy, loving, everlasting and completely gripping. "All the words that men use about women—enchanted, charmed, addicted—they don’t even begin to cover what I felt for you and your handful of shattered glass. I thought about you that night, and the next and the next, and when I was deployed to Carpathia, you were all I thought about. I built these fantasies in my mind where I would come home after the war and find you at whatever university you were at. I would kiss you until you were like you were that night at the party, begging me to do whatever I wanted.” Oh Ash, you sweet-talker you! This is a story of three intertwined lives and their rise to the top of American politics. Since 'Priest' by Sierra Simone is one of my favorite erotica books, I knew that I would love this one. I just wasn't prepared for the level of hotness and (slight) depravity! And I mean that in the nicest way. I rarely have time to read a series back to back but I did just that with…

Dramatically eloquent & endearing, with an erotic sharp edge!

These books have been on my TBR for awhile. I knew of Sierra Simone’s capability to create a very risqué storyline after reading Priest. Yet nothing could have prepared me for this impressive trilogy! It’s scandalous. It’s witty. It’s angsty. It’s super-sexy-hot! I binged these books over the course of the last few days and I’m a wreck and in complete awe. Not only is the prose so beautiful and descriptive, there’s a heaping measure of pure wit and intelligence that delves deep into the complexities of human behavior and love. The woven metaphors of mythological references tied with legend - particularly that of King Arthur and his Knights - make a formidable backbone to this story. The imagery spectacularly detailed, my mind swirled with so many conjured-up scenes. “I’ve become one of those damsels in the legends that I teach about at Georgetown, one of those women in the stories who represents sex or virtue or deceit or any number of things to the gallant knight she’s entreating for help. To complain that these women are passive is to miss the point; they aren’t women at all. They’re symbols, defined by the meaning the knights make of them, recognizable only as the role they play in the knight’s adventure.” The varied points of views created so many layers, opening revelations and shrouding mystery at the same time. I am a conflicted pile of feelings I can’t even begin to articulate. I felt hate and love and betrayal and trust and loyalty and lies all at the same time!…

I Loved This Until the SURPISE CLIFFHANGER! Ugh!

So this book is based on the King Arthur legend, which means you already know there's a love triangle between two guys and one woman. But this book brings that story into the modern world and the result is a sensuous tale with MMF love and navigating that polyamorous relationship in modern life when two of the participants are as high profile as the President and the VP. I won't really talk about plot here, but I wanted to mention the characters. A few people don't seem to like the heroine, saying she's shallow and naive, it's ridiculous she doesn't see through her cousin's actions, etc. While I didn't find her submissive personality to be to my taste, I can see why the author wrote her that way, and tbh, it fits with the plot and the world the author has created. The characters act in ways that are believable *within the context of this world*. Yes, I know some of the actions are unlikely in real life, but this is fiction. If I can suspend belief that a President and VP would both be after the same woman after 10 years of pining, and that their kinks all just happen to line up, then I can believe the plot. And this book is so incredibly well-written. The author really has a way with words and bringing the reader into the story wholeheartedly. Were it dependent upon writing alone, this book would earn 5 stars from me. However, two things bring it down to 3 stars: 1) Exactly just how submissive the heroine is and 2) There's a surprise cliffhanger. (SPOILER below) Look, I…

Oh wowza!!

4.5/5 ⭐ 3 🌶️ This was the first book I'd read by Sierra and WOWZA what an introduction!!! Such a fun and exciting read, I didn't put it down once I started into it was finished. What a hot and spicy book with such a fun plotline. The odds that she meets a man whom she has a huge crush on and writes letters to, and then eventually hooks up with another man years later only to find out THEY'D hooked up and had feelings. Man oh man, what a love triangle!! But I loved how each of their relationships developed and matured. The end of this book had me screaming and immediately buying the next one in the series. I love a good MMF book and would recommend this to anyone who also loves a love triangle that ends up all together, with lots of spice as well and an exciting plot!
