Completely Enjoyable

The main characters in this story are great. The build-up of their love is very well done. There isn't really angst between them but there's definitely family issues that play a role in their growth. I really enjoyed this story. The writing is great, well done.

That was fun!

I had forgotten how much I enjoy volleyball, so thank you Nicole Poland for the reminder. It was fun to read about the legendary player and the sports psychologist. Like all of Nicole Pyland’s stories, this is a good one.

Sports Romance

I love a good sports romance and this one delivered! Everly and Wyatt make a great team - although it didn't seem like it when they first met. However, their chemistry and playful banter make it obvious and fun throughout the story. Of course, outside influences add pressure to their relationship - personal and professional. This was cute and emotional and fun... Nicole Pyland serves up another good one 🥁💃👐

Fantastic story and characters

This book feels like a love letter to a sport the author is smitten with, but that isn't a bad thing at all! While the supporting characters get a little less development than in most of Ms. Pyland's previous works, that is understandable, since the Sports Series will consist of stories about athletes from different sports in each volume. The character development for the leading ladies, on the other hand, is superb. In addition, the story is full of details about the sport of volleyball and weaves a compelling love story with the overarching drama involved in trying to get a fledgling professional sports league off the ground and keep it going. But perhaps what the story does best is convey how isolating "superstardom" in a sport can be. The dichotomy between the "public persona" and "private individual" for the character Wyatt Wicked is stunning, especially since it isn't truly understood by even those she considers close friends at the beginning of the story. I received an ARC copy of this book.

Great sports book

One of the best sport related books I have read. Wyatt and Everly were great characters and very well written as well as believable. The instant magic between the two causing sparks to fly was the catalyst to some very fiery love scenes. The whole storyline was written with knowledge of the subject and well handled. Overall a very well developed and great story to read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommend it fully for others to read
