Loved Chase, Sebastian, and Anton!
I was really excited for a poly romance from this author and loved that it was pragmatic Chase who got 2 boyfriends, and with former students at that. You can absolutely read this as a standalone, especially because all of the characters are so strongly developed that you get exactly who each person is even without having read their book. That said, I think you'd enjoy the dynamic between the 4 friends more if you read the series in order. They are all so funny, and one of the highlights of the whole series are the text exchanges between Amos, Everett, Julian, and Chase.
The romance in Advanced Chemistry is complex, rocky to start, and culminates in a wonderful HEA. A chance encounter between Chase, Anton, and Sebastian leads to an amazing night that sets off a surprising chain reaction for all three. Anton and Sebastian are longtime best friends and business partners, but Anton has no idea Sebastian is madly in love with him. As Anton persistently pursues Chase for more threesome fun, Sebastian is overcome with conflicting emotions, chief among them jealousy. I loved how Chase responded to Sebastian's feelings, and their bond becomes truly beautiful. As for Anton, he wants to keep having fun but can't imagine anyone wanting more than that with him. The scene where he's convinced is so memorable and has stuck with me for a long time.
I could've read so much more about Chase, Sebastian, and Anton. I would've loved to see even more between Sebastian and Anton as they worked…

I must admit that I read this book out of order. This title was recommended to me and I did not realize it was the final book into the series til I was half way through.
The plot and its pacing were nice. As someone who has read a growing number of MM romance books it was interesting to read a MMM romance. At times the dialogue felt somewhat forced for the characters. Chase outside of the bedroom always seemed robotic at times with his dry matter of fact way of speaking. Anton’s character felt like the dumb jock through the first 2/3 of the book and Seb’s character fit in the middle. This didn’t detract from the story but did make the dialog feels juvenile at times.
Definitely going to read the other 3 books in the series.
Cute and adorable, but...
I really liked this book, but honestly I got 40% through it and skipped to the last two chapters. I had a hard time getting through to the proper romance of it all.

A G.R.E.A.T. M/M/M story in the South Rock High Universe
What a thrill it is to read the next book in the South Rock High series by A.J. Truman! What made this one more spicy is the fact that the main trope in this awesome story is the M/M/M trope! LOVE this!!! It couldn’t get any better than this one! A.J. Truman keep setting the bar up higher in each book! Just such a wonderful reading! More than 5 allocated stars. I’d add one more star after each book!!!!
The story focuses on Chase, the South Rock High School chemistry teacher who happened to bump into Anton and Sebastian, his former students while they were restocking the vending machines. Anton was the one who had a thing for Chase when he was taking the class. Along with Sebastian who had been pining over Anton without him realizing it, they struck something with Chase. Like I said, it’s a M/M/M sweet story with some twists, problems, jealousy, and a realization. I’d strongly suggest you pick up the book and read to find out what happens! Happy Reading!

Well written, engaging view of how a throuple comes about
A throuple is not something I've been exposed to, and it was some trepidation that I slipped into the fourth book in the South Rock High series by A.J. Truman. But I love the community he has built and wanted more since it was so welcoming and supportive.
But a throuple works for these three, and Truman has created a wonderful space for them to live. In the previous book, Chase is greeted by two of his former students in his chemistry class at the high school. Anton and Sebastian are recognized for their success in the wrestling team, and Sebastian was to have ridden that success to college. But instead, he stays behind as Anton has this idea for a business, and the two are very successful thus far. The brief meeting sets up some sizzle, and in this book, they meet again.
This blossoms into a romance, but there are unresolved issues for Sebastian who clearly is in love with Anton. The story surrounds their hot encounters as a trio, the change in the dynamic of Sebastian and Anton, and how others perceive them since they are pitching a big deal for their company.
This threesome romantic adventure is played out well in the pages and we emote with the trio as they are doing something they have not seen others do. This is also where their strong friend group has some help, dropping obvious clues to the trio as appropriate and being surprised, but supportive.
Truman navigates this well, and previously unspoken things are said aloud and always in the case of these books, there…
