Description

Hudson thought he finally had the life he always dreamed of, but the universe had other plans. Instead of celebrating the future he worked so hard to build, he is handed divorce papers just as his personal world collapses. Desperate for a fresh start and a place to hide from the glare of the media, he finds himself in an unexpected living arrangement with Adrian, the team captain who has always been a thorn in his side. Living with the man who challenges his every move is supposed to be a nightmare, but the ice between them begins to thaw into something far more complicated. As the boundaries between professional rivalry and personal desire blur, Hudson and Adrian discover that the chemistry they fought so hard to suppress on the rink is impossible to ignore at home. This installment of the Chicago Awakenings series balances sharp wit with deep emotional resonance. It is a story about second chances, finding family in the most unlikely places, and realizing that sometimes the person you least expect is exactly who you need. Expect plenty of laughs, intense banter, and a heartfelt exploration of love that defies labels in this unforgettable hockey romance.

Adorable…

Hudson gets served divorce papers right when he thought he was going to be getting everything he has ever wanted. He’s wanted to be a dad for as long as he could remember. With no place to go he asks Adrian if he could stay with him until he finds a new place. Adrian had been crushing on straight Hudson for years and he’s not in any hurry for him to move out. He also opens Hudson’s eyes on other options of becoming a father. I loved Adrian and Hudson’s relationship. I thought they both were adorable and happy with how they became a couple.
