Read “Sweetheart Daddy” 1st!
Sweetheart Daddy is about Milo’s big brother Jacob’s romance with his boy.
I only say read it first because it introduces Milo and so many characters with a lot of beautiful backstory.
No, you don’t HAVE to read it first. This book is good on its own….but it’s better and richer with having read Sweetheart Daddy first. You get to know Milo more and pretty much all the characters except for Flower Daddy (bc he shows up in this book).
However, if you really want to read this one now and are wanting a shorter read you’ll still really enjoy this book. You can always go back and read Sweetheart Daddy later then come back and comfort read this book again =-)
So about THIS book. It’s a sweet love story between a little and his perfect Daddy. It’s a beautiful testament to how a Daddy/Little relationship should be with open communication.
Very little angst. The only “angst” in the story is that Milo has anxiety sometimes but he’s good about talking to his Daddy about it and even sees a therapist occasionally when he feels he needs to. Milo’s parents died when he was young and was raised by his older brother Jacob and they were both in therapy to help them be healthier so this is a long-standing commitment to a healthy mental regiment as opposed to some type of emergency mental healthcare that most people use therapy for.
There’s so much hurt/comfort in this book that leads to healing and found family it’s like walking into a cozy home with a fire going when it’s snowing outside.…
