Description

Sierra Chelsi is a woman on the edge. After a desperate act of survival leads her to kill her abusive father, she flees through the wilderness of northern Maine, pursued by law enforcement and the crushing weight of her own history. Lost and out of time, she stumbles into a hidden grove where the rules of the mortal world no longer apply. There, she encounters Varella, the formidable and ethereal Raven Queen. Varella offers a scandalous proposition: sanctuary in her faerie realm in exchange for Sierra becoming her personal pet. Though every instinct screams that striking a deal with the Fae is a recipe for disaster, Sierra is utterly disarmed by Varella’s breathtaking allure. With nowhere left to turn, she accepts, trading her freedom for a chance at safety. What follows is an unexpected life of indulgence within the Raven Court. Instead of the expected cruelty, Sierra finds herself smothered in affection, silk-soft comfort, and the queen’s playful teasing. As she navigates this magical, glittering world, the fear of her past fades, replaced by a blossoming, intense devotion to the woman who saved her. In a realm where bargains are usually traps, Sierra discovers that her new life might just be the home—and the love—she never dared to dream of.

Well-written, little nods to the real world, and another romance at the end.

I loved this book and will be keeping it. Not donating it or selling it. This book was nice, pretty p-g. It was a little short and this could very well have more room for another book. But it wrapped up nicely. Better than other lesbian books I've read. Not too wordy or too much of one thing. This has more than two lovers, be warned. It's a bit more modern. I guess the only thing wrong about this book is that there wasn't enough romance in my opinion, but it's gotta have a story, too.

Excellent

I found this book delightful. The packing was a bit fast, but otherwise this is an excellent sapphic read .

Easily devoured

Sapphic holy grail. Magic, love, soul bonds, poly, shifters, Queen, war, pack mentality, werewolf, dryads, witches, Domme/subby... tops and bottoms... I mean... EVERYTHING is in this book. I had the best time laughing at the bottoms bratting be it in wolf or human skin. The MC's narrative will make you giggle. Oh, and the love shared with two fierce women in their own relationships? Be still my little swooning lesbian heart. 10 stars and cannot wait to read the next book in this chronicle.

Wonderful

This is a wonderful story of a Fae queen and a broken, lonely werewolf. It just pulled me in and didn't let go.

be still my sapphic heart

I went from “Let’s just read another few chapters since I’m laying in bed early before falling asleep since I’m really tired” to “No sleep, I must experience every ounce of love vicariously through this sapphic mess of a wolf girl” Fae top? Check Relatable bratty bottom wolf girl? Check Enthralling story that made my sleep schedule even worse? Check Went from being a few chapters in to finishing the rest a few hours later and now I think the sun is rising. Worth it.
